It's been two weeks since my "gall bladder" (or whatever it was) attack and my trip to the hospital. It was the first day of school and I spent all day starting to get caught up around the house. What a disaster area! I made a small dent in the mess, but I feel ok with my progress. It felt good getting up early and getting a lot done. I have to say, though, I fell into the "one job leading to another, leading to another..." thing. I finally focused enough to get a few things completed.
After school Patrick (14) wanted to jog with me. I had planned to start jogging today, but hadn't made it outside yet with my obsessive mom "gotta get things done" mindset. We had a great time today, and the weather is perfect. Here's what we accomplished:
1/4 mile walk
1 mile jog
1/2 mile walk
1/2 mile jog
3/4 mile walk
Total walking time was about 27 minutes or 18 minutes per mile, very respectable.
Total jogging time was about 20 minutes or 13.3 minutes per mile, again very respectable. I'm happy with the whole experience. I feel good, my times were good, and I feel like I'm starting to get back on track.
A very good day 261 of at least 10 minutes of exercise per day.
