I was running late getting ready for work, so I only got 11 minutes of walking in. I was going at a good pace and I'm glad I kept my streak going.
Tonight was a rough night at work. We usually have four pharmacists, we were down to three which made for a very busy night. I'm winding down now, but what an end to my week. Actually, my work week is just beginning. I work all weekend. Wish me luck!

Again I went a little lighter on the workout. I only did a weight routine. That lasted 30 minutes.
My rough week continues. I paid my property taxes today. We are officially broke today. Luckily, hubby gets paid tomorrow. I sure hope his bonus comes in too, so we don't have to make payments on our back taxes.
We've also made a decision on the car. The old van got totalled by State Farm. We've decided on the Honda CRV. It's cheaper than another van, it gets better mileage, but feels safer than a civic. We also like the four wheel drive for the winter. This will be our commuting vehicle, so it usually will only have one person in it. We don't need two family vehicles.
Hubby went in a pool at work for the lottery. Here's to hoping!

I took it easy today and went just two miles. My jogging mile was 13:45 and my walking mile was 18:15.
Another interesting day around here. I went down to the school to volunteer. I'd been in the classroom 10 minutes when I got called to the office. All I could think of was, "What did I do to get sent to the principal's office?"
On the way the PE teacher told me that my fourth grader, Stevie, had fallen and hit his head. He's ok, but he's got quite a bump. I spent the next hour calming him down, then I took him home. Poor guy still hurts, but he's hanging in there.
So I'm ready for another week to begin. This one has been really rough.

That's four months if my math is correct! My math could be off, I just finished jogging. I walked for 0.25 mile, then jogged 4 miles, then finished with another 0.25 mile walk. Total time was 65 minutes. Jogging time was 55.3 minutes. My miles are still around 13.5-14 minutes each. It is such a beautiful day out there. I can't believe it's still March. I think I got a bit of a sunburn again. If I keep this up, I'll be tan by April.
I really needed the jog today. Lots of stress to burn off. Last night, hubby was in a minor accident. There were two major accidents on I29. He's was thinking of stopping to help and was looking for the first aid kit. He looked up and the car in front of him had stopped. He swerved, and almost missed her. Our older van got banged up on the front, driver's side. Hubby was not hurt, but he's pretty frustrated with himself.
The other stress: I went to H& R Block today. We owe the Feds, we owe Nebraska (and we don't even live there!). OUCH!!! I won't give an amount. Hubby reassures me he's getting a bonus at the end of the month. Much of that will go toward taxes. If he doesn't get the bonus, we'll be making payments. We also have to adjust how much we withhold for next year. OUCH!! How will I ever get things paid down?
I think I'll just have to log lots of miles this week to work off that stress.

Last week was kind of a slower week for me with exercising. I still got my time in every day. Some days were more casual than others: disc golf on Saturday, walk with Hubby Sunday. I looked at my chart today to log my weights and I noticed that I haven't done weights in two weeks. Yikes! I planned to cut back to twice a week, not stop all together.
Today I did my intervals, at least that's what I call it: 3 min elliptical (warm-up), 1 mile jog, one round of weights (chest press, delt press, bicep curls, quad press), and one round of crunches (30 regular, 10 bicycle, 10 reverse). I did this three times then finished with ten minutes of stretching.
Total cardio: 51 minutes (9 min elliptical and each mile was about 14 minutes)
I feel really good right now. I've started sleeping better thanks to another breakthrough in my thyroid dosing. I've started taking 5 mcg Cytomel before bed and that has really helped. I even had a glass of wine last night, and it didn't affect my sleep. Alcohol has had a tendency to keep me awake lately. So I think I'm well on my way to figuring out my long term thyroid dose. I still have a few weeks until the dessicated thyroid and reverse T3 work their way out of my system completely, so I am expecting some more dose adjustments. I'm just taking it really slowly.
