Day 98

Today I decided to swim for my workout. I did 30 minutes including 1000 backstrokes (2x500). I figured my joints could use a break, and I think I'll try to jog tomorrow with the warmer temps. Hopefully, it won't be so windy.

A strange thing happened today. I went outside to walk down to the school to pick up the kids. There was a big pile of something out in the street in front of our house. At first I thought it was mud. There are lots of pick-ups that go by, and even the occasional construction truck. When I got closer I could tell it was poop, horse poop! It's bad enough we get dog poop in our yard from irresponsible pet owners, but horse poop in front of our house! I called the city when I got home. They've already cleaned up the mess. I'm really glad I didn't have to drive over the stuff, YUK!

That's my weird story for today. Hopefully I'll have better stuff to talk about tomorrow.

Today I was able to do 45 min of Zumba since I don't have to be at work as early as yesterday.

I'd better hurry and get ready though!

Wow! I'm close to 100!

Today a 30 min swim in the endless pool with 1000 backstrokes and various kicks holding onto the kickbar.

Off to work again! It's been crazy there.

Days 94 & 95

Yesterday I did my standard routine: elliptical, weights, crunches and stretching. It was tough to get through, but I did it.

Today I did Zumba for 20 minutes. It felt great! Wish I had more time to do some more, but off to work I go!

Day 93 (yesterday), Busy mom (today)

I thought I'd blog before I exercise today. I never got a chance to blog yesterday. My afternoons and evenings are chaotic. Today will be crazy after school:

After school: Mikey has track, Mary has rehearsal (a bullying movie), Stevie has basketball
4:00- Drive Patrick to piano
4:50-Pick up Mary and take her to piano
5:00-Pick up Stevie and drive him to piano, take Patrick home with me from piano, Mikey will walk home
6:00-Patrick and I go to High School orientation, then afterward, eighth grade graduation planning meeting.
6:15- Hope Hubby remembers to pick up Mary and Stevie from piano.

Sometime in there we have to eat dinner. Luckily I have leftovers. I have to type up this list for my own reference. I hope I remember everything and everyone. It looks like I'll be dragging the twins with me too. There will be no babysitters home to help.

Yesterday's workout was fun. I did 20 minutes each of elliptical, Zumba, and swimming. I woke up a little sore again, but not as bad as yesterday. Today I plan to do my standard: elliptical, weights, crunches, stretching. We'll see how I feel afterward if I want to get some Zumba done too.

    Oh, the joys of being the family "cabbie" - hope everything got accomplished and all kids made it home like they were supposed to. LOL !
