Wow! I really overdid it yesterday. Hubby came to my rescue and warmed up my dinner for me while I guzzled some water. I've learned a valuable lesson, when TOM hits hard, take it easy on the workout! I'm proud of myself, however. I remembered past lessons, and didn't give in to the sugar cravings. I did not eat cookies or anything else that's bad for me. I had a healthy serving of squash and ham soup, and I felt better pretty quickly. I must have really needed some calories later. A couple hours after I had the taco meat I was going to have a salad with. No energy to chop things up for a salad, so I just had the meat (it had a lot of tomatoes in it, and beans). Still, no cookies!! I woke up this morning with a TOM headache. I usually need a Lortab to get rid of one of those. I stuck with my low carb eating, had coffee, Tylenol, Naproxen and my headache went away. I think all the extra sugar I usually ingest when I'm not feeling well must make the headaches worse.
Today I managed 30 minutes on the elliptical. I went a little slower than yesterday, but I was still sweating. I'm eating low carb, but skipped my veggie drink this morning. I think I'll have some dipping veggies this afternoon. I think Stevie will have seven or eight friends over tonight for his birthday sleepover. He's a great kid. He deserves a great party!
