saving receipts from grocery store

One thing I am in the habit of that helps me track my foods is to saved my grocery store receipts. Of course it also helps me in my budgeting to know the prices, but whenever I write my weekly shopping list I have my past receipts on hand. I like to eat low carbohydrates.

Today is just beginning...a few minutes past midnight...but I am planning my meals for tomorrow. I have some luscious flounder, tilapia, & shrimp so I will fry them in a bit of butter with a sprinkle of dill. I don't have much trouble remembering to drink my water & I take my mineral and vitamin supplements, too. I like spoonfuls of Smucker's peanut butter without putting it on bread or crackers. My breakfast consists, usually, of plain yogurt with a dash of cream, and then 2 soft boiled eggs. Low carbohydrates work for me, but I include a green salad with raw vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower, some sharp cheddar, and some chicken or tuna added in. My day almost always includes a fresh citrus fruit.
