Well, now that my doctoral project is done and I'm back to a more usual schedule, I'm looking forward to laser-focusing on "gym season" today. Technically, I'm in my third week of this season but my schedule has made it difficult to do all I had planned to do so in some ways this season starts today, at least in earnest.
My overall goal for the next several months is to improve my overall physical fitness by (1) increasing aerobic endurance, (2) increasing physical strength, and (3) scoring in the "normal" range for SP's push up test, crunch test, step-up test, and walk test.
I am partially looking forward to this and partially intimidated by the beating I'm going to give my body today! But mostly I'm looking forward.
