I was Afraid of This

After 10 months of eating well I am slipping back into some old habits. The one thing I feared when I started this journey in January was that I would grow bored or what have you and just slip back into my old way of life. This is beginning to happen to some extent and so today I choose to push through old patterns and live in a new way! I refuse to yo-yo back up!

Another Great Day

Pretty uneventful day today but I was able to continue avoiding caffeine--14 days in a row now. Oh how I love feeling so calm again and in control of my mood!

About 10 Days Without Caffeine and Feeling Good!

Caffeine and I don't get along very well over time. I get moody, intense, my energy swings up and down rather abruptly, etc. Every once in a while I forget what it's like and start using caffeine again to help me through a day or week, but I always regret it. So a couple of weeks ago I decided enough was enough--again--and I let it go.

Oh it feels so good to feel calm inside, able to control my mood, able to sleep well, etc.! May the Lord help me to trust in him for strength and not coke and coffee!

    Wow good for you! I too am struggling to limit the coffee I'm drinking. I hate knowing that if I don't drink it I'll have a headache and not feel great. I'm switching now to half caf and hope to eventually flip over to decaf, since I still enjoy a warm mug in the morning.

Great job. I'm motivated to work on this more myself!
