Yesterday was an upper-body strength training day but I had to take it easy because my lower back is giving out on me. I probably shouldn't have even worked out but I made sure my back was very secure and I reduced the weights for each exercise, and my back actually felt better after I was done. This has happened to me a time or two before and I really don't get it, nothing particular happened, so I just have to wait it out and be careful not to injure myself even more.
It felt so good to be that determined to work out, though. In years past I would have used this as an excuse to wimp out--well, wimps no more!
