Completed week five workout 2 of 3 in my half-marathon training plan today, a 5K. I'm training to walk/jog because I'm just not in good enough shape to jog the whole time but that's okay by me. It's a huge deal for me to even want to jog much less be taking on such a big goal as this. After I finish this one, I'll continue training and look at jogging an entire half before the year is out.
After I was finished, I hopped on the bike and went for a recovery ride of about 11 miles. Mellow pace, actually marked the miles for the 7 mile route I'll walk/jog this Sunday, as well as another 4 mile route I walk/jog fairly often.
