Rhythm in life means a lot to me, and when it gets disrupted I struggle. Over the last few months my rhythm of exercise has been disrupted by various circumstances and though the wheels haven't come off the bus has certainly slowed down! I want it to speed back up.
Next week the new year begins which also means the end of a very busy season for me, as I'm a Pastor. I love this season, oh the Lord knows how much I love this season, but it does present challenges as far as keeping the diet and exercise life in line. I have put on a few winter pounds but now that things will return to a more normal rhythm I'll take those off in no time. I always do.
So, as it has been in past years, the basic plan is to do cardio six days per week and strength training three days per week. I'll write more about the details in the coming days.
