Starting Over Again...

Starting over again is literally the worst feeling ever!

I reached my goal of 145 2 years ago ... After doing so I started to date (because damn i looked good!) haha .. which means i started going out to eat more .. I started to be more social which means i definitely consumed alcohol which i had previously cut out of my life ..

At first I still weighed myself constantly and to my surprise no change!! I figured losing all that weight had hyped up my metabolism but boy i pushed it a bit too far..

A year later I was up 20 pounds but i still looked super good so i really didnt care! Which i should of but .. hind sight is 20/20...

So I didn't stop it.. And now Ive been bouncing between 180-190 for months!!

Finally About a week ago I really decided I needed a change! (and started using spark people again 3 days ago)

It's harder than before.. I crave worse than I used to .. But I'm really wanting to be back at my goal weight! So here goes nothing!!

Word of advice from someone who learned the hard way .. Never stop paying attention to what you are putting in your mouth!

    I am in your same shoes, almost same weight and time frames as well. I started at 207 3 years ago, made it down to 162 and was looking great and feeling awesome! I kept it off for a year, but slowly the bad habits came back. Now I'm back to 213 and can't wear anything in my closet. :( I finally decided today to get back on track. I miss feeling cute and sexy!

Messed up..

So I had two horrible days this week (yesterday and the day before)

And by horrible, I mean the foods I ate (eating out) BOO!!!

I'm the type of person that instantly gains 5 pounds whenever they do something wrong. And so I did...

I had everything I could do to not stop eating all together (besides water) for a few days to get back on track..

I used to be the kind of person who would do that too .. so I am proud of myself for that :)

However, I am glad I had the weigh spike since I might not have realized how much my actions really do effect me otherwise..

anyway thought I would fess up :)

    at least you can admit when you mess up. that is great because you can realize your mistake and get back on track instead of getting off track and crashing. One piece of advice though, don't starve yourself to make up for it. It just messes up your metabolism and will work against you. Try doing a little extra exercise instead if you make a "mistake" again. You are doing a great job

So .. I just found this site .. seems like a great way to stay motivated and I'm excited for it!!

I started my FINAL weight loss journey a little over a month ago now..
... and I've lost 15 pounds so far!

Unfortunately, most of that was before i started working out as well...

So, I'm now trying to find the right way to exercise and eat to lose weight.. I've lost the concentration I had on my food and calories before I added in working out ... hopefully this helps me get it back!!
