My total calories for today.

For Breakfast this morning I had a Almond fruit smoothie, coffee and sweet cream sugar free creamer. Total calories = 210



For Lunch I had Fish McBites regular size from McDonald's, mini sweet peppers, celery, carrots & Light ranch dressing. Total Calories = 644



For Dinner I had a turkey burger wrap with Miracle whip & mustard, broccoli, cauliflower and Minute Maid light lemonade. Total calories = 452





My snacks today were 4 Pillsbury valentine cookies, 2 strawberry sugar free jello snack size and herbal tea with stevia. Total calories = 265

Grand Total for today = 1571 calories

I know my choices weren't the best, but I really wanted some cookies today. I also drank my 64 oz of water today.

    I think it is important to incorporate some fun foods into the plan...this is life after all, not a diet. I like the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches and carve out enough calories for one a few times per week. That way, I don't feel deprived and miserable. As long as healthy food is MOST of what I eat, a little treat now and then is just fine!

So last night when I went to bed all I could think about is my past. I think my past played a big part in why I am fat today. I need to start looking at my past and making peace with it. I do not want it to define who I am and keep me from becoming who I want to be. I want to be thin again. I want to sky dive, play volleyball, go camping, hiking and most of all, play with my children more. Here are some pictures of me throughout the years. I want to be her again.

Decisions

So this weekend my husband and I went to the movie Django. I decided to have some popcorn. I know it wasnít the best choice, but you know what, neither my husband nor I ever eat that kind of food. We choose to have that one treat to share. I have not seen a gain, but I also exercised and watched my other calories going in. I ate many veggies, fruit, water and a little protein to offset the bad treat. I weigh-in on Wednesday and think I will see a loss.

I am working at losing another 65lbs by June 15th. My family and I will be going to Walt Disney World and I want to fit into the rides comfortable and be able to keep up with my children. I know that choosing the right foods will help me do that. I also know if I donít have a special treat once and a while I will go back to totaling pigging out on all junk food, because I will start feeling deprived.

    I have had a good week on our first BLC week and it sounds like you are too. emoticon Good decision to share and offset the popcorn with water and fresh fruit, veggies! I have to watch the sodium so I choose to track it in my tracker ... it is amazing how fast it adds up! Here's to a good number on the emoticon on Wednesday.

I really need to work on toning, tightening and strength training. I have no upper body strength. This has always been my weakness. Even when I was in school as a child I could never complete the presidential fitness. I was in excellent shape. I played volleyball, ran, shot put, hurdles, high jump and was always swimming. Maybe I was just fearful of what I can really do. Maybe I am my worst enemy always sabotaging my own success and goals.

Crunches- 30
Squats-30
Push ups- 7
Planks-10 seconds
Wall sits-27 seconds
Step-40

My Goals for BLC21

The BLC21 started yesterday! I am so excited to be a part of the Sassy Shamrock Sheriffs. The wonderful ladies in this group our amazing. I think they will be my inspiration during this challenge. emoticon

One of the things are cappy asked us to do is think about what our goals are going to be for the next 12 weeks. I have many, but will be focusing on ones that I have to be consistent about to maintain a healthy life-style for life.

1. I need to drink more water. I have gone many whole days without even drinking a full glass of water. I am rarely thirsty. emoticon

2. I need to get up and move more each day. I purchased the fitbit to help me with that task. emoticon

3. I really need to get 7 or more hours a sleep a night. I am lucky if I get 5 hours a night now and then I drag all the next day. emoticon

4. Track all food on the Spark website. emoticon

5. I need to do 20 minutes of cardio a day. I own an elliptical and have no reason to not get on it every day, while I watch one of my recorded shows. emoticon

6. The biggest one of all is to be 25-30lbs lighter by the end of this challenge. emoticon

Now I will leave you with some of my favorite says:
