My supervisor gave me a Starbucks gift card, and a coworker (she is the legal liaison and we travel to Lubbock a lot together) made a fat free orange cranberry bread that is YUMMY!!! I was sad I didn't have any of my latte left when I finally went over and got a piece! hee hee.

First of all, I love you guys! I've gotten so many birthday wishes, some great sparkgoodies, and a gift certificate to Amazon from a special sparkfriend!!! I appreciate it all! This has been one of the best birthdays I've had in awhile!
My husband took me to lunch, where I ate very well because I decided instead of a cake or something, I wanted some dark chocolate. So after lunch we went to Schakolad, and I picked out a couple of dark chocolate truffles. Then my husband gave me some cash and told me to pick up some coffee on my way back to the office (he must have read my mind-it's the perfect day for a cuppa!). I now have a latte to enjoy with my chocolate this afternoon!
I took my princess to the dentist today (after we had to hold her down this morning and give her an antibiotic-she has to have that before any dental procedures because of her heart defects). She didn't let them clean her teeth, but they did do an exam and put some flouride on. Poor baby-this has been a rough week for her! I'm looking forward to enjoying the evening with her, although I will probably have to share her with Barney!
And my sister in Minneapolis called to wish me a happy birthday. She wants to treat me to a massage so she needed my therapist's name too-glad I found a new one!

Work was kind of stressful yesterday. Lots of little things had piled up that I was working on getting caught up on, then had to clean up a mess a supervisor made of a case, and of course she is on maternity leave right now!! Then I had an NASW steering committee meeting after work, and that wore down what little energy I had left. Lots of drama and power struggles there. I am currently the vice chair, and will eventually be the chair, and I am dreading it!!!
Today has been not necessarily stressful, but hard. Took Kaelyn to WIC (she qualifies since she is on Medicaid). They poked her finger which she did not like. but then we got to go have lunch with my hubby. After that we went to Kaelyn's eye doctor appt. They dilated her eyes, then made us wait over an hour and a half! I had nothing for Kaelyn to drink and she kept asking for a drink. Then she wouldn't cooperate for the doctor to look at her eyes! She is napping now. Tomorrow we get to have her teeth cleaned at the dentist. Fun fun!
Last night I succumbed to Burger King. And paid for it later. I had such an upset stomach. It was pure stress eating, and I shouldn't have done it! Today has been much better. Instead of stress eating, I stopped for an iced latte with sweet and low on the way home!
I have lost 2 inches on my waist and 2 inches on my thigh!!!

We had a good night last night. My friend ended up staying until midnight! We ordered Dominoes pizza, which we have been really impressed with. My husband got me a thin crust veggie, and I made a salad to go with it. Very good, and I stayed in my calorie range!!
I loved my massage yesterday and am very happy to have found a new therapist!! Now I can keep my migraines away.
Need to do some housework today. I did gain a pound last week, but I wasn't surprised or disappointed. I only worked out once, it was that TOM, and I was sick for a couple of days. But this week will be better!!

Well, it did snow again! And I think it still is, just real light. Wind is blowing too. We were going to go to an Easter Egg Hunt with the Down syndrome support group today, but not now! I am still going to my massage, I sure need it!
I really don't have a lot to say! Depending on the weather tonight, my BFF is supposed to come over for dinner to celebrate my birthday which is next week. We were supposed to go to another egg hunt tomorrow with the NICU reunion but I doubt that will happen now, I think they are doing theirs outside. Welcome Spring!!!
