Ok...so the last time I actually made a blog entry, it was a year ago this time of year. Can you say SLACKER!!?!?!

I lost 30 lbs last year doing Medi-Weight loss and decided I wanted to do the last 30 on my own...except I have managed to gain an extra 10 lbs (I like to refer to as my "holiday weight", but come on....who am I kidding!), so I really have the last 40 lbs to go on my own and I know I can do it!

It's just the "doing" part that I always have a problem with. Hey, we all need motivation wherever we can get it...right? So, my motivation this time around is a black-tie event I am attending December 9th with my husband and when I go shopping for that Holiday dress, I would really like my size to be in the single digits by then and prove to myself that I really can finish what I started and get this weight off once and for all!

So, my plan is, starting tomorrow, to start my Turbo Jam workout routine and see if I really can lose 10 pounds or 10 inches in 10 days. But I have to actually stick it out and see it through to the end of the 10 days this time. It's only 10 days right! I can do this! Wish me luck!

Today I reached my first short term goal! I never thought I would actually make it there, but low and behold... I MADE IT! This is just a small step in my journey to my goal weight, but I am so excited! Thanks for all the support from my mom, sister and other sparkies out there... I truly couldn't do it without your support :)

My November GOYAAM Plan!

My November GOYAAM plan is to:

1. Drink 96 oz. water EVERY DAY!
2. Do 30 mins on my elliptical every afternoon.
3. Do 20-45 mins. of Turbo Jam every morning.
4. Reward myself once a week.
5. Get in my fruits and veggies every day.
6. Track, Track, Track.... track all nutrition calories consumed and exercise burned 6 days a week!

Good luck with your goals!! :) Don't forget to do some strength exercises too -- it will increase your metabolism and give you something to look forward to underneath all the fat you're burning with your great cardio! :D

3. Do strength train 2 x week.

    That is a very comprehensive and realistic plan. You go! How is Zumba? I saw that the other day and wondered if was similar to Core Rhythms. I always seem to get caught up in those infomercials. I've wasted so much money on them, that now I'm hesitant.
