O.K. a Sparkpeople friend, Carol, and I are starting today in earnest to get off these last ten pounds our bodies are holding. I am back to recording every morsel of food I put in my mouth and will keep my calorie intake at 1200 - 1300 calories a day. I CAN DO THIS. Start weight today is 146.4.

  


June 2014 New Challenge

I am in week two of a Couples Weight Loss Challenge (six couples). We all lost the first week. I am down two pounds from the weigh in on Sunday so am holding today at 146.6. Everyone is supportive of one another and it is fun. My goal is to lose 10% of my body weight in the 12 weeks which should be doable. But, I have to do a two pound a week loss. Onward and upward - or maybe that should be downward.

Minimal Progress - Turning Over a New Leaf

O.K. It is now Feb. 12 and I have made little progress toward losing the 14 pounds. I have maintained an average of 10,000 daily steps but the food consumption is another issue. I am going to renew my program starting with the Nuviva info I got two years ago that helped me be so successful in losing 70 pounds. I KNOW I can do this. We decide what is important and I need to remind myself that being a healthy weight is more important than the taste and comfort of food.

New Year, new chance. I will do a minimum of 10,000 steps daily. I will also lose two pounds per month which should be VERY doable, until I get back to about 135. I have crept up to 149 and am disappointed in myself. emoticon . But I know I can get back on track. Wishing all who might read this well, and let's make it a healthy year!!

Last day of R3 P2 of hCG

O.K. today was my last injection of a 40-day protocol w/hCG. Total loss was 8 pounds, not a lot in the world of hCG possibilities, but more than what I have been able to do on my own. Now, onto stabilization for three week, then maintenance. Total weight loss since I started this journey in January of 2012 is 71 pounds released forever and ever, so overall, I am very happy.

It is still and will continue to be "one-day-at-a-time" to stay on track and aware of eating. My husband has been wonderful through out and it has been a sacrifice for him too. We have traveled this road together.

Today is Mother's Day so Happy Mother's Day to all, including those whom serve in a Mother role for others.

    Congrats on finishing up your third round MK! I just started P3 after my 5th round and was very glad to get to it, it's been a long round for me.

I know how important your husband's willing participation in your journey is. Mine has been so very supportive as well. I don't know what I'd have done without him. It's great having a cheerleader ready in our corner all the time, isn't it?

I don't know how close you are to your goal, I have a little under 50# to get to my "preliminary" goal. I want to get to that point, then I'll see what my body has to say about losing more. I expect I will, but probably no more than 10#.

Have a successful P3 and round 4 if you're doing one!
