A Thursday Hymn of Hope!

Thursday, May 19, 2011

Goooooooooooood Morning Everyone! This will be this week's last message. We will be gone a few days. God willing, we will continue again on Monday. So I wanted to sign off with a hymn of hope by Joel Hemphill.
TITLE: HE Still Working On Me!

CHORUS:
He still working on me to make me what I ought to be,
It took Him just a week to make the moon and stars,
The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars,
How loving and patient He must be, He still working on me.

1. There really ought to be a sign upon the heart,
Don't judge her yet, there's an unfinished part,
But I'll be perfect just according to His plan,
Fashioned by the Master's loving hands.
(CHORUS)

2. In the mirror of His Word reflections that I see
Make me wonder why He never gave up on me,
He loves me as I am and helps me when I pray
Remember He's the Potter, I'm the clay.
(CHORUS)

Father, keep everyone safe and in your love and mercy, and thank you for not giving up on us.
Father, make us all what You want us to be. This we ask in Jesus' precious name, until we meet again on Monday, Amen!" In His Love, Vic.

A Wednesday Prayer and Message!

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

A Special Greeting To Everyone! Thank you for all your wonderful comments and responses to yesterday's prayer and message. Give God all the glory!

PRAYER: "Glorious Father, Loving God! We pary this morning that our faith will not fail, and that when we have turned back to You, we will strengthen our brothers and sisters in Christ with the strength we received from You. When our faith is put to the test, help us to resist doubt and fear, so that our foundation will be built solidly on Christ and on Your Word. Enable us to stand on the Rock of Ages so we can help others who are struggling with faith. Make our faith strong and our life steadfast. Thank You for answering our prayers. This we pray in the blessed name of Jesus our Redeemer, Amen!"

MESSAGE: Following Jesus!
1. Eph 6:17 reminds us that when we put on the whole armor of God, that the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Therefore, arm yourself by studying the word of God.
a. Paul teaches us in Rom 1:16, not to be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God unto our salvation. Therefore, fortify yourself with the power of God the Gospel of Christ.
b. The writer of Hebrews reveals to us in Heb 4:12, that the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, dividing asunder soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart. Therefore, cloth yourself with the Word of God because we cannot hide behind excuses nor pretenses.
2. Think abou This! How will we be able to change our life in compliance with God's Word if we do not study the Bible? How shall we apply His Word and Will to our lives if we do not know what it says? We become easy targets for Satan! To Be Continued Tomorrow!

May God's Word purify our hearts and thoughts, and wipe away all our foolishness.
In His Love, Grace and Mercy, Vic.

A Tuesday Prayer and Message!

Tuesday, May 17, 2011

A Blessed Tuesday Moring To Everyone! This will be a short week for my wife and I. We will be attending a wedding at King Ranch, Texas and will leave Friday and return Sunday. So Thursday will be the last prayer and message for this week. We will resume again on Monday (God Willing). Give God the glory!

PRAYER: "Gracious Father, Loving God! Teach us to let the time with You to take the place of worrying. Help us to stop worrying about everything and anything and start spending more time in Your Awesome presence. The time we waste worrying about things over which we have little or no control is better used in seeking You and Your help and in listening to your voice speak to our hearts. You are our True God and the source of our strength, our hope, our love, our peace and our rest. Enable us to make that connection with You and not with things that worry us. This we pary in Jesus' precious name, Amen!"

MESSAGE: Following Jesus!
1. We are looking at STEP #3 - Study our Bible!
a. God told the Israelites in Due 6:6, to put His Word in their hearts (minds).
b. He gave them His Law on the Tablets of Stone but He wanted them to carry the Law in their hearts.
c. Jesus reminds us in Matt 4:4, that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.
d. Paul tells us in 2 Tim 3:16-17, that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, ans it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, so the man of God may thoroughly equipped for all good works.
e. But we have a responsibility according to 2 Tim 2:15, to study the Bible to show ourself approved unto God as a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
2. Think about this! How shall we rightly divide the Word of Truth unless we study the Bible? How shall we be thoroughly equipped for all good works unles we know what to do? How shall we be able to change our minds unless we carry God's Word in our hearts? To Be Continued Tomorrow!

May God open our eyes, our ears and hearts to His Word and bless us with it. In His Word, Vic.

I love your prayer. I am prone to worrying, but lately I am doing much better. I just keep reminding myself of how many times I wasted precious time and energy worrying and God always provided a solution to the situation.

Our God is an awesome God!

A Monday Prayer and Message!

Monday, May 16, 2011

ALOHA EVERYONE! Hope evderyone had a GREAT WEEKEND....We Did! Praise God and Give Him All The Glory!

PRAYER: " Most High Father, Our Almighty God! Help us Lord to be bold and persistent in our prayer and in our service, but in our worship, help us to be humble and grateful. Teach us not to be arrogant nor presumptious in our prayer and in our service. But teach us to be confident in what Jesus has done and is doing for us. Let Your Word rule over our life and direct our path. Let Jesus and Your Spirit be our guide in life and in living. Let Your Faithfulnes and Love be our strength and comfort. Grant us the knowledge that You will answer us in a GREAT WAY. These things we pray and ask in the precious name of Jesus our Lord, Amen!".

MESSAGE: Following Jesus!
1. We have seen thusfar, two step that will help us to change in the right direction:
a. Step 1 - Change our purpose in life.
b. Step 2 - Believe we can change with the help of God.
2. STEP 3 - Study the Bible!
a. God told Joshua in Jos 1:8 to meditate on the Law (The Word of GOd) day and night.
b. Can we do anything less? Heaven Forbid! The same applies to us.
c. How else would we learn the Will of God?
3. Think about this! If our changing is just a partial change and not a toal change, will God accept that? OF COURSE NOT! If we put off the old man, put on the new man, but do not transfer power and control to the new man, have we done what God has commanded us to do? To Be Continued Tomorrow!

May God's blessings and love fill our hearts so we may unserstand His Will.
In His Love, Grace and Mercy, Vic.

A Sunday Spiritual Hymn!

Sunday, May 15, 2011

A Blessed Sunday Morning To Everyone! Here a beautiful hymn created just a few years ago about one of the things Christians do . The words and the music were written by Twila Paris in 1991, The music was re- arranged later by Ken Young in 1993. The inspiration for this lovely hymn came from Ps 107:31-32, "...let them exalt Him in the assembly of the people".

TITLE: We Shall Assemble

We shall assemble on the moutain,

We shall assemb;le at the throne.

With humble hearts into His presence,

We bring an offering of song.

Glory and honor and dominion

Unto the Lamb, unto the King,

Oh, hallelujah, hallelujah,

We sing the song of the redeemed.

Meditate on these words as you go to your assembly to worship our God. Have a wonderful worship service. In His Grace, Vic.
