A Wednesday Prayer and Message!

Wednesday, May 11, 2011

Let The Son Shine In! Everyday Jesus is in our life is a beautiful day, no matter what happens...and it's always exciting. Give God the glory!

PRAYER: "Loving Father, Glorious God! We lift our faces towards heaven as we seek You, Your Love, Your Grace and Your Mercy. Then we lower our heads with a humble spirit and a grateful heart as we enter your throne of grace. We just want to thank You today, thank you for Jesus, for your Scheme of Redemption, for your Word which is Truth, for your Truth which sets us free, for the gosel of Jesus which is our salvation, for Jesus' atoning sacrifice which made all things possible, for His example on how to live, and for for his invitation to follow Him. For all these things and many more, we thank YOU! This we pray in Jesus' blessed name, Amen!"

MESSAGE: Following Jesus!
1. How much is God willing to help us change?
a. Eph 6:10-18 - tells us He is willing to give us His armor to protect us.
1. The Christian battle is from now until Jesus returns.
2. The 'putting on" OF THE WHOLE ARMOR of God demands immediate action on our part.
3. This is a fierce battle against all evil, with even hand-to-hand combat, and our souls at stake.
4. The Whole Armor of God consist of six pieces: 1. Truth, 2. The Breastplate of Righteousness, 3. Preparation for the Gospel of Peace, 4. The Shield of Faith, 5. The Helmet of Salvation, and 6. The Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.
b. How shall we stans against all evil if we are not prepared and totally equiped?
c. How shall we be equiped if we do not obey?
d. How shall we obey unless we hear and understand?
e. How shall we hear and understand unless we believe we can change with the help of God?
2. Think about this! Satan lies at our door and desires us; and the only thing that can save us from him is Christ, if we put on the WHOLE ARMOR of God. Anything less is meaningless. To Be Continued Tomorrow!

May heaven help us to see and understand with our hearts the message of salvation according to His WORD. In His Love, Vic.

Amen I just loved this prayer. I tried to see myself with my head lowered but the truth is that I kinda run into the throne room like a little girl. I truly see God as daddy God. emoticon I probably come a little too boldly at times.

A Tuesday Prayer and Message!

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

A Blessed Morning To Everyone! There is so much joy in life....my cup overflows. Give God all the praise!

PRAYER: "Glorious Father, God of heaven and earth. Help us to learn to believe. Increase our faith to believe for great things. Help us not to forget the small things which are really glorious. But help us also to search the heavens for the mysteries of life which are eternal. Believing is not just about trusting faith, but about believing more and more in You. Teach us not to trust our own abilities, but to depend and seek Your Word and Promises; to see the truth in things, and to know that You made them all, just for us. Take away any unbelief in us, make us doubt free, and fill us with your love, grace and mercy. This we pray in our beloved Savior's name, Amen!"

MESSAGE: Following Jesus!
1. We must believe we can change with God's help.
a. We must learn to appreciate the gifts that God has given us.
1. Phil 4:13 - A gift from God..."I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me".
2. Do we really believe this scripture? FirTst, notice the word "I"; that's you and me.
3. It doesn't say we can do "SOMETHINGS"; it says we can do "ALL THINGS".
4. But notice the condition: "THROUGH CHRIST". On my own I can do nothing, but through Christ I can do all things.
b. When I look back at someof the things I have done in my life, I marvel: "How did I ever accomplish these things?" Well, the answer is obvious: "It was not I, but Christ living in me".
2. Think about this? How content are you in perplexing situations? To whom do you give the glory for the great things in your life? Do you have the ability of knowing how to live skillfully in times of little or in times of prosperity? The secret is to live in Christ and have Christ live through you. Our strength may fail us but the strength of Christ Jesus will NEVER fail us. To Be Continued Tomorrow!

Let us lift our hearts to heaven and give thanks to God for the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.
In His Grace, Vic.

A Monday Prayer and Message!

Monday, May 09, 2011

Goooooooooooooood Morning Everyone! We are looking forward to another GREAT WEEK and thank you all for your comments and responses. Give God all the glory!

PRAYER: "Heavenly Father, Almighty God! Help us to create a symphony of prayers. Help us to find believers with whom we can agree in prayer on a regular basis. You have taught us that where two of us on earth agree about anything we ask in prayer, it will be done for us.
We pray we will agree about your Truth, about your Word, and about the Power of the Holy Spirit. You have said that one can put a thousand to flight, and two can put ten thousand to flight. We pray that enough prayer partners can agree to put Your enemes and those who attack us daily to flight. Thank You Father for listening to our prayer; thank You for answering our prayers; and thank You for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord. This we pray and ask in His glorious name, Amen!"

MESSAGE: Following Jesus!
1. We must believe we can change with the help of God.
a. 1 Cor 10:13 - tells us that it is possible to change with His help:
1. There is no temptation that is not common to man.
2. God is faithful and will not suffer us not to be tempted above what we can bear.
3. God will, with the temptation, provide a way for us to escape so we may be able to bear it.
b. In other words, God will not remove the temptation, but will help us get through it.
2. Think about this! This proves that God "Who is faithful" will help us to change if that is what we seek. Can people or circumstances force us to do evil? The answer is "NO"! We are tempted by our own desires and lust (James 1:13-15). Is there then a valid excuse for sin? To Be Continued Tomorrow!

May God, our God, strengthen us and help us as we find ourselves snared into sin by our own doings. In His Great Love, Vic.
b.

b.2. can also be used with our Spark program. We don't have to do it alone or even depend on other teammates. But before we can ask God for the strength to do it, we have to be willing to change directions and not expect the old ways to suddenly work.

God continue to bless you, Vic

A Sunday Special Song!

Sunday, May 08, 2011

Greetings Everyone, especially you ladies! My wife and I wish each of You ladies, "A HAPPY MOYHER'S DAY"! Here is a song just for you:

TITLE: M O T H E R

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes with love-light shinning,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be;
Put them all together, they spell MOTHER,
A word that means the world to me.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! And may God bless each of you, Vic and Mary Lou.

If we are lucky our mothers grow old (mine died at the age of 47 after a 5 year bout of terrible illness).

I feel very fortunate to have reached the age of 66. I have lived past the ages of both my mother and father at their deaths. Now I am shooting for the age at which my grandmother passed away -- 90.

A Saturday Spiritual Hymn!

Saturday, May 07, 2011

Goooooooooooood Morning Everyone! On weekdays, we have been studying about "Following Jesus". Today's hymn is an oldie about "Following Jesus". The words and the music were created by John S. Norris in 1890. The inspiration for this hymn came from John 10:27, where Jesus said, " My sheep hear may voice, and I know them, and they follow me".

TITLE: Where He Leads Me I Will Follow

1. I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior calling, "Take thy cross and follow close to me".
(REFRAIN)

2. I'll go with Him thru the garden, I'll go with Him thru the garden,
I'll go with Him thru the garden, I'll go with Him, with Him all the way.
(REFRAIN)

3. I'll go with Him thru the judgment, I'll go with Him thru the judgment,
I'll go with Him thru the judgment, I'll go with Him, with Him all the way.
(REFRAIN)

REFRAIN:
Where He leads me I will follow, Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow, I'll go with Him, with Him all the way.

MaY GOD HELP US ALL TO FOLLOW HIM EVERYDAY, ALL THE WAY.
In His Grace, Vic.

Absolutely! You are so true! Life would be so much easier if we never got lost along the path that The Lord provides... Other paths can be confusing and route our lives into a new direction. I think despite what we do....We need to keep sight of God, so that we will always find our way back...Home.
