A Tuesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Tuesday, March 01, 2011

A Glorious Morning To All SP Members! Let's remember to share these prayers and messages with love ones and friends and invite them to join the team. PRAISE GOD!

PRAYER: "Holy Father, Gracious God! Help us to understand the power of ONE in Christ Jesus. Help us to be a person who has a heart for You and Your Way. Help us to be the one who is in the right place at the right time to reach out to those in need. Enable us as we pray and fast to have a powerful impact on the world around us. Strengthen us so that we may stand for what is right and good, as we follow the examples of our Lord and Master. Make our prayers powerful enough to save the lives of those for whom we pray. This we ask and pray in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen!"

MESSAGE; The Challenge To Belive In Jsus! (Mark 5:1-20).
1. I find it most interesting how this story ends.
a. The once tormented man, now dressed and in his right mind, asked to go with Jesus when Jesus was asked to leave by the people of that region.
1. Vs 19 - Jesus told him to stay, "go home to your friends, and tell them how great things the Lord has done for him".
2. Many of us would have probably said, "Sure! Come on! We are not wanted here."
3. The truth is, he was needed there.
4. Jesus gave him a commision even as He has given us the Great Commision today ( Matt 28:19-20).
b. Let me suggest that the man had started now the journey in life with Jesus by FAITH in OBEDIENCE to the word and the work he was given.
1. Vs 20 - The man departed (obeyed) and began to proclaim throughout the many settlements of that region (Decapolis) the great things Jesus had done for him.
2. Faith without works (Obedience) is DEAD. But faith with works (OBEDIENCE) is the key to life.
2. What do you think about this? If Jesus can do what man cannot do, than He must be the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and that's Good News for you and me.
a. Do you know my Jesus?
b. Is yourfaith "DEAD" or "ALIVE"?
3. We will begin another story tomorrow!

May God open our hearts and eyes to the clear message of Christ, and bless us.
In His Loving Service, Vic.

    Perhaps we asked the Lord into our lives and hearts years ago, months ago, but if that is not the case, nevertheless, we are always in the right place to do so, and now is just the right time, either to renew our commitment to Him, or to invite Him into our hearts as Savior and Lord, if we have never done so before.

Thank you Sweetie for your constant prayers and teachings, keeping us strong in His word

A Monday Morning Prayer and Message!

Monday, February 28, 2011

A Blessed Morning To all SP Members! We had a terrific weekend! Hope you did too. Give God all the glory!

PRAYER: "Heavenly Father, Merciful God! We are grateful that in your great mercy You did not put an end to our disobedience nor abandon us. We are aware everyday of your great mercy towards us. Thank You that You never judging us according to what we deserve. Your grace unto us is beyond our comprehension. Thank You for not forsaking us. Help us never to forsake You, nor to grow in our disobedience to You. Instead, enable us to grow in our faith and in our works of obedience. Help us to change our attitude so we may be right with You. And help us never to take your mercy for granted. This we ask in the Blessed name of Jesus our Lord, Amen!"

MESSAGE: The Challenge To Believe In Jesus! (Mark 5:1-20).
1. How did the people react?
a. Vs 17 - The people pleaded (requested, implored) with Jesus to leave their coast (region).
1. Fear for lack of understanding was the basis for their request.
2. Fear of Jesus' power rather than financial losses was the basis for their plead.
3. Their fear kep them from receiving additional blessings.
b. How did Jesus react? (Vs 18).
1. Jesus returned to the boat.
2. Jesus will not stay where He is not wanted, even though He may be needed.
3. How we respond will determine whether he stays or leave.
c. How did the man who had been cleansed respond?
1. He wanted to go with Jesus. (Vs 18).
2. How did Jesus respond to him? To Be Continued Tomorrow!
2. What do you think about this? How have you responded to Jesus' landing on your shore?
a. Did you fear Him and asked Him to leave? OR!
b. Did you invite Him into your life with joy and love.

May our merciful God helps us all to receiveJesus who is the source of eternal life and all spiritual blessings from heaven. In His Mercy, Vic.

A Sunday Morning Spiritual Hymn!

Sunday, February 27, 2011

Aloha SP Members! Here is a hymn that was inspired by Rom 5:1-11, and is the favorite of many:

1. Amazing grace! how sweet the sound! That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now I'm found; Was blind, but now I see.

2. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved,
How precious did that grace appear, The hour I first believed!

3. Thru many dangers, tolls and snares, I have already come;
Tis grace hath bro't me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.

4. When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise, Than when we first begun.

5. Amazing grace! how sweet the sound! That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now I'm found; Was blind, but now I see.

In His Grace, Vic.

I just finished a biography about the author of Amazing Grace, so reading the words again had a special meaning for me.
He lead a roller coaster life and came through it with the blessings of God.
Thanks for writing it out and May God bless you.

A Saturday Morning Spiritual Hymn!

Saturday, February 26, 2011

Gooooood Morning SP Members!

Here is a hymn inspired by 1 John 5:11 and loved by many: " Blessed Assurance"

1. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a fore-taste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of the Spirit, washed in His blood.

REFRAIN: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long.

2. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels decending bring from above, Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3. Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy andd blest;
Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

May everyone be blessed with the peace and love that comes from God.
Have a wonderful weekend! In His Love, Vic.

A Friday Morning Prayer and Message!

Friday, February 25, 2011

A Blessed Morning To All SP Members! There is so much joy when we are busy doing the work of the Lord. TRY IT! And give Him all, the glory.

PRAYER: " Righteous Father, Glorious God! We see Your love for us even when we do not do everything right. We thank You that even when we do not do everything right, You see in our hearts the desire to do so, and You bless us in spite of our shortcomings and failures. We are glad You look past our imperfections and see the perfect qualities of Jesus, Your Son, living in us. Help us to grow in our daily walk with the Master, and help us to live Your way so our walk may be pleasing in Your sight. This we pray and ask in the name of Jesus, our Redeemer, Savior and Friend, Amen!"

MESSAGE: The Challenge To Believe In Jesus! (Mark 5:1-20).
1. Vs 15 - The people of the city came to Jesus and were amazed.
a. They saw the man possesed by unclean spirits:
1. Sitting!
2. Clothed.
3. In his right mind.
4. The people were afraid.
b. Vs 16 - The herdsmen told the people all they had seen and witness.
2. What had they witness?
a. A transformation that had taken place in a tormented man.
1. He was no longer crying out and cutting himself. He was sitting.
2. He was no longer naked, running around and living in tombs. He was clothed.
3. He was no longer tormented but rather was IN HIS RIGHT MIND.
b. If Jesus can do what man cannot do, then He must be the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and that's Good News for you and me because Jesus can ctreate that transformation in us.
3. What do you think about this? Are you in your right mind? Do you live each day in the peace that comes from knowing God and living in Jesus? To be Continued Monday!

Let's praise God and thank Him for all the blessings He bestows on us daily, and for Jesus who is our source for salvation and righteous living. In His Grace, Vic.

    May God bestow on us His grace,
With blessings rich provide us,
And may the brightness of His face
To life eternal guide us
That we His saving health may know,
His gracious will and pleasure,
And also to the heathen show
Christ’s riches without measure
And unto God convert them.

Thine over all shall be the praise
And thanks of every nation,
And all the world with joy shall raise
The voice of exultation;
For Thou shalt judge the earth, O Lord,
Nor suffer sin to flourish;
Thy people’s pasture is Thy Word
Their souls to feed and nourish,
In righteous paths to keep them.

Oh, let the people praise Thy worth,
In all good works increasing;
The land shall plenteous fruit bring forth,
Thy Word is rich in blessing,
May God the Father, God the Son,
And God the Spirit bless us!
Let all the world praise Him alone,
Let solemn awe possess us,
Now let our hearts say, Amen.
