A Friday Morning Prayer and Message!

Friday, December 10, 2010

Greetings Team Members, from God the Father, God the Son and from us! May today be a blessed day for each of you. Praise God and give Him all the glory.

"Heavenly Father, Loving God! Whom do we have in heaven besides you? And earth has nothing we desires beside you. From a child we were taught, "Blow out the candles and make a wish!" So we have grownup with, "I want, I want, I want!" Thank you Father for giving us what we really need here on earth, and for preparing a place for us in heaven. We know You have power, but sometimes we forget this wonderful source of help. Please sharpen our awareness of your constant presence and help. Teach us how to ask and not live below our privilege, and yet not to want because you will provide what we need. Help us to learn to do your will and to trust in your help. This we pray in the name of Jesus our Savior, Amen!"

Having looked at what the scriptures say about our role in using "Time and Opportunities", we now turn our attention to "Possessions".
1. Ps 24:1-5 - These verses teach us who really owns our possessions:
a. The earth belongs to the Lord, everthing in it, and everyone who dwells in it.
b. He founded it and established it.
c. Who then can ascend unto the hills of the Lord, or stand in his Holy Place?
d. The answer: He who has clean hands and a pure heart; he shall receive the blessings from the Lord.
2. Ps 50:7-15 - These verses teach us that we are merely "Stewards" of what God has given us and we have received.
a. Every beast, cattle, fowls, and wild beast belongs to Him. So everything we possess is really his and not ours.
b. We are to offer thanksgiving to God for what He has provided.
c. We are to pay and keep our vows to Him.
d. We are to call on Him in our hour of need.
e. He wil provide our needs and deliver us so we can glorify Him.
3. To Be Continued Monday!

May we all be blessed as "Good Stewards" of everything that belongs to God.
In His Love, Vic.

Thank you Sweetie, for a steward is a person that is responsible for managing the property and affairs of others, so therefore we should be very careful what we say and how we treat others, there are times that our actions and words effect children

A Thursday Morning Prayer and Message!

Thursday, December 09, 2010

Gooooooooooood Morning Team Members! Thank you for all your wonderful responses and comments. Praise God!

"Heavely Father, Almighty God! It is you who makes a difference in our lives. It was You who imagined the world before it was formed. It is you who has granted us that we might begin to see the world and our lives through the eyes of faith. Help us O Lord, to trust in you with every fear, every challenge, and every disappointment, so that you may bring us hope, endurance, and healing to us according to your mercy. Help us to know and appreciate your power working in us and for us. Enable us to humble ourselves before you, and grant us your peace. This we pray in the name of Jesus our Lord, Amen!"

As we continue to look at Time and Opportunity, we come to the following scriptures:
5. 1 Pet 4:2-3 - Where our role is clearly defined:
a. We should no longer walk or live the rest of out time in the flesh to the lust of men, but to the will of God.
b. In time past we did the will of pagans, when we walked and lived in all sources of sin, but now we walk and live by faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
6. Rom 13:13-14 - Therefore, let us walk and live honestly:
a. Let us not walk and live in rioting and drunkenness, nor in wantonness, nor in strife and envy.
b. Let us put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and clothe ourselves with Christ, as we walk and live in love, seeking to do good works to the glory of God.

Tomorrow we will look at POSSESSIONS!

May God bless each of you today with the knowledge ofr God's will.
In His Love, Vic.

A Wednesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Wednesday, December 08, 2010

Aloha Team Members! Are you ready for Xmas? Praise the Lord!

"Heavenly Father, Glorious God, we awake each day with praises to you in our hearts and on our lips. We choose today not to believed our fears that have always lied to us, that has robbed us and kept us from becoming the Christian servant You want us to be. Instead, we choose FAITh over fear, and put out trust on your love, power and promises. Help us to seek how we can serve you more faithfully. Fill us with courage, strength and dedication as we come to the end of this year and look forward to serving you more faithfully in the new year. May we become the Christian You have called us to be. Thjis we pray in the name of Jesus our Lord, Amen!"

Moving on in our study of Time and Opportunty, we look at how we can use what we have been given:
3. Eph 5:15-16 - Scripture teaches us to walk circumspectively: that means to watch carefully how we live. We are to walk/live wisely and not as fools, redeeming our time: that means to make the most of every opportunity, by exposing the sins of the lost and being a witness to them. Read Matt 25:14-30. the Parable of the Talents.
4. Eccl 12:13-14 - Scripture teaches us the conclusion of the matter: and that is to fear God and keep His commandments. Why? Because that is the whole duty of man. God will bring every work into judgement: this means we will be judged on our works (Time and Opportunities).
5. To Be Continued Tomorrow!

May God bless each of you today with Faith and Trust in Him.
In His Love, Vic.

A Tuesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Tuesday, December 07, 2010

Greetings Team Members, from the Lord and me! Praise be to the God and Fther of our Lord Jesus Christ, our God.

"Heavenly Father, Holy God, we do praise You, we praise your name and all Your works. We know that unless the Lord builds the house, our labor is in vain. Guide us as helpers to the Great Builder and Master. Help us not to advertise our own good works to reap praises for ourselves, but rather, to bring praise, glory and honor to You. Bless us so we can wear the name of Jesus, for He is the Great Shepherd, the Rock of all Ages, Almighty God is He. Bless us as we bow down before Him, love and adore Him, for His name is WONDERFUL, Jesus our Lord. Enable us to live our lives doing good works, being content in being unknown as we glorify Your Majestic Name. Praise the Lord O our souls! This we pray in Jesus name, Amen!"

As we continue from yesterday, let's look at the next question: "To what are we called?"
2. John 9:4 - Jesus teaches us that He must work the works of Him who sent Him. God sent Jesus to us and now Jesus sends us to do the same in the world (Matt 28:19-20). To do what? To work the works of Him who sent us. That's our goal; that's our purpose! Therefore, let us do the good works we have been called to do, because the day is coming when no man can work anymore. Are you doing the good works you have been called to do?
3. To Be Continued Tomorrow!
May God bless each of you today and equip you for the good works. In His Love, Vic.

A Monday Morning Prayer and Message!

Monday, December 06, 2010

Goooooooooood Morning Team Members! What a wonderful weekend! Thank you for all your responses and comments. Praise God!

"Heavenly Father, Eternal God, how bless we are to have you as our God. We look around us and see all things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, and You, Our God, who created them all.
Thank you for your beautiful world and all the creatures who inhabit it. Give us wisdom and balance in fulfilling our role as caretakers of it. As we stand in your mercy and revel in your protection, let us shout aloud with joy: You alone are our God! You alone are our Redeemer! You alone are our Hope! Infold us in your blessings and guide us on our journey to glory. This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen!"

As we consider Question #2, let's look at how we can use "TIME and OPPORTUNITY". Life on this earth is made of time, but in the Life to Come, time is not a factor. God has given us this time to serve Him, to prepare us for the Life to Come. So how we use out time is most important. Not only has He given us time, but He gives us also opportunities and instructions on how to serve wisely:
1. Gal 6:10 - Teaches us as we have opportunties, we are do "WHAT"? Do Good unto all men, especially those of the household of faith. Doing good refers to the ministry of Restoration (Gal 6:1). It's bearing one another's burdens (Gal 6:2). It's supporting teachers (Gal 6:6). It's showing us to live according with the Spirit leading (Gal 6:8). And it's perservering and reaping (Gal 6:9). True believers are to minister first to Christian (Those of the household of faith), and second to non-christians (Those lost in the world). So how are you using your time and opportunties?
2. To Be Continued tomorrow!

May heaven's blessings and Word touch your hearts today and teach you how to be a Good Caretaker. In His Love, Vic.
