A Saturday Morning Prayer!

Saturday, October 09, 2010

Aloha Everyone!

"Eternal Father, blessed Redeemer, Gorious God! May we turn to you always for guidance, for strength, for provision, and for direction. May we glorify you daily in the choices we make, in the ministries in which we are involved, and in everything we think, say and do. May your love be above us to shadow us; may your love be beneath us to uphold us; may your love be in front of us to guide us; may your love be behind us to protect us, and may your love be beside us and in us to comfort and sustain us, as we go about doing all the good we can, to as many as we can, as often as we can, and Father, help us not to do any harm at all, until we assemble again in the Lord Jesus' name; for it is in his name that we pray, Amen!"
May heaven's blessings be upon each of you today, In His Love, Vic.

A Friday Morning Prayer and Message!

Friday, October 08, 2010

Gooooooooooooooooood Morning Everyone! We are delighted with your responses and comments. Thank You!

"Heavenly Father, You are in deed the Only True Living God, and worthy of all praise, glory and honor. Thank you for loving us, for jesus who helps us bear all our burdens. Help us from being driven from your presence and face; keep us from being a fugitive and a vagabond on this earth; Let not our contenance fall; help us not to be wroth; Let not sin crouch at our door; snare us by our own desires; and rule over us. But help us to do well and be accepted in thy sight, that we may know and experience the joy and peace that comes only from thee. This we pray and ask in Jesus' name, Amen!"

As we bring the lessons of salvation to a close, let's remember that many religions and doctrines accept only one essential of salvation and ignor all the other essentials of God's conditions for salvation. Heb 2:1 teaches us to give more earnest heed to the things God teaches us and we have heard, lest at any time we drift away from our salvation. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make his face to shine upon you and give you peace. In His Love, Vic.

A Thursday Morning Prayer and Message!

Thursday, October 07, 2010

Aloha Everyone! What a joy it is to read your responses and comments eachn day. Thank You!

" Loving Father, God of all this universe, we thank you for the avenue and power of prayer, for your Word and each passage that inspire us to pray. Help us to seize a few moments each day in our busy day to spend time with you, in the scriptures, in prayer, and in thanksgiving. As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to heaven without watering and refreshing the earth and making it bud and flourish, so is your word that comes from scripture , as our prayers rise up to you in heaven and your blessings flow down to us. Enable us to draw closer to you each day as we grown in your love, grace, mercy, faith, hope, knowledge, wisdom and service to you our God. This we pray in Jesus' precious name, Amen!"

What are some of thr errors being taught today about salvation?
1. Some folk say we are saved by grace alone.
2. Other folk say all we need is the death of Jesus.
3. Still others think they are saved just because they are good moral people.
4. Many folk believe we are saved by faith alone.
5. Some people think we are saved by baptism alone.

Scripture clearly points out that no one essential save us, nor a combination of essentials, but that all are required in order to bring us to a saved condition. And that other essentials are also necessary in order to remain saved and for us to receive the promise of heaven. To Be Continued!
May the grace of God bless each of you today, Vic.

A Wednesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Wednesday, October 06, 2010

Goooooooooooooooooood Morning Everyone! Thanks again for your response and comments to yesterday's prayer and message!

"Heavenly Father, we rejoice and are glad and give you glory for the church, your kingdom here on earth. For the wedding of the Lamb is coming and the bride, the Church, has made herself ready. The invitations have been sent and received, and all preparations have been made for the feast. Let us therefore rejoice and give praise to You for our future. We wait anxiously for the return of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. As we worship you now, we thank you that one day we will worship you face-to-face for all eternity. Teach us to express our love and gratitude in worship and obedience for all that You have done for us, for all that you are doing for us now, and for all that is yet to come. This we pray with cheerful hearts in Jesus' name, Amen!"

As we continue to look at man''s part in the Gift of God's salavtion, many are going to hear words like these from Jesus, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honored me with their lips, but the hearts are far from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching the commandments of men" (Matt 15:8-9). The Hebrew writer admonishes us in Heb 10:25, not to forsake the assembly of ourselves (the Church), as the manner of some, but rather let's exhort one another as the day approaches for the saints to assemble to worship our God in Spirit and in Truth. God has done his part in providing salvation to you and me, and now let us honor that gift and our God with our love and obedience through faith in out Lord Jesus Christ. May the heavens pour out it's blessings on each of you today. In His love, Vic.

A Tuesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Tuesday, October 05, 2010

Greetings Everyone! Thank you for all your comments on yesterday's Prayer and Message.

"Loving Father, how grateful we are that any prayer we make, no matter when or where, rises always up to you in heaven and you hear every prayer. Even the quiestest prayer of our hearts born out of faith are as important as our loudestest prayers of feverncy. Like the smoke of incense that rises before you, our prayers carried by angels are delivered to you. Thank you Father for hearing and answering all our prayers. We are blessed indeed to have the God of all creation as the center of our lives. May we bring praises, glory and honor to you as we kneel before you each prayer with love and gratitude in our hearts. This we pray in Jesus' precious name, Amen!"

What other part does man have in slavation? Some say, "The church doesn't save; Christ saves!" So they conclude there is no need to be a member of the Lord's church. Acts 2:47 reminds us the Lord added to the church those who were being saved. The church dooes not save, but those in the church are saved. If we are not in the church, what is our condition? Are we not lost? Yet some say, "Well, I'm saved, but I do not attend worship nor have anything to do with the church". Again I ask, "What is your condition"? Jesus purchased the church (His body of believers) with his own blood (Acts 20:28). To Be Continued! May each of you be blessed to today with God's truth.
In His Love, Vic.
