A Monday Morning Prayer and Message!

Monday, October 04, 2010

"Heavenly Father, we begin this new day with a prayer of thanksgiving. We are in deed thankful that you hear our prayers and see our hearts; that you know our needs and graciously provide for our every care; that you see our foolishness and grant us mercy and forgiveness. We are indeed blessed, for when you see us and hear us, you see and hear the righteousness of Jesus in us, and not our sins. You hear our cries and you answer us with your love and grace. You create in us faith and hope through your word, and you equip us to be fruitful and faithful. Help us to trust in you more fully and to look to your word for guidance. This we pray and ask in Jesus' name, Amen!"

Once we have oberyed from the heart, what Jesus has commanded us to do in order to be saved, what else is there to do? What about being fruitful, faithful and persevering? Matt 10:22 promises us that if we will endure to the end, we will be saved. Matt 7:16-20 tells us that Christians are known by their fuit, and those that do not bear fruit will hewn down and cast into the fire. Read Matt 25:14-30, The Parable of the Talents. Rev 2:10 instructs us to be faithful unto death, and Jesus will give us a crown of life. Now, that's something to think about! God bless, Vic.

A Saturdsay Morning Prayer!

Saturday, October 02, 2010

Heavenly Father, how grateful we are that our rigtheousness comes not because we have done everything perfectly, but because You have done everything perfectly for us. We are blessed because of your rigtheousness and Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Help us therefore to confess our sins not only to You, but also to each other, for we are imperfect and we need to share your righteousness with others so that healing can come to us all. Thank You for making our prayers powerful and effective. This we pray in Jesus' precious name, Amen!
God Bless Everyone, Vic.

A Friday Morning Prayer and Message!

Friday, October 01, 2010

Goooooooooood Morning Everyone! Thanks again to all who responded to yesterday's prayer and message.

"Loving Father, thou art in deed Holy, Righteous and Just, and you are our God. You are the Creator of things in Heaven and on Earth. You are worthy of all praise, glory and honor. If any brother or sister in Christ lacks wisdom, let them ask you, for you give generously to all without finding fault. Grant us wisdom today, your wisdom, for true wisdom comes only from You through your Word. We thank you for your word that promises this wisdom, if we ask...and we do ask today for your wisdom. Help us to be wise once we recive your wisdom: wise in its use and wise in its application. Enable us through your wisdom to know what to do and what not to do in everyn given situation. Bless us noow with your Word and Wisdom. This we ask in Jesus' name, Amen!"

We have seen man's part in salvation: hearing the Word of God; believing in Jesus Christ; repenting from our sins; confessing Jesus as Lord; obeying the Gospel of our Lord; and being baptized which enable us to put on Christ and be saved. But what about maintaining that staus? There are those who say "Once saved, always saved". But that is not what the Bible teaches. Is it possible to fall from grace? Heb 2:1 warns us to give the more careful attention to the things we have heard, less at anytime we should slip and drift away. 1 Peter 2:10 teaches us to give diligence to make our calling and election sure by doing the things Jesus teaches us through His word. If we do them, we will never fall; but if we do not do them, then we shall surely fall. To Be Continued Monday! Have a GREAT WEEKEND and may God pour out His blessings upon you. In His Love, Vic.

So true, we need to walk the walk daily and not be swayed by world's ways, which can be very subtle. The Lord can come back at any moment, we need to be awake and watching and serving Him to our fullest.

A Thursday Morning Prayer and Message!

Thursday, September 30, 2010

Aloha Everyone! Let's remember to share these morning prayers and messages with love ones and friends.

"Heavenly Father, we approach your throne of grace with confidence, so we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our hour of need. We thank you for Jesus, our High Priest, who knows our weaknesses, who was tempted in every way just like us, yet was without sin. Because You, Jesus, understand our struggle, we can come to You and receive mercy instead of justice. Help us to approach You in confidence, knowing You will strengthen us and love us in our hour of failure and need. You will have compassion on us and received us and meet our every need. This we pray in Jeus' name, Amen!"

The Bible says BAPTISM is necessary to salvation. The source or power to FORGIVE is not in the water, nor in faith, nor in repentance, nor in confession, but that power is in the blood of Jesus Christ. That power is applied to us in BAPTISM when we meet the conditions God has set forth in the scripture. Rom 6:3-7 tells us that in BAPTISM, we put on Christ, we are buried with him in BAPTISM, we are raised in newness of life, and we are freed from sin. Gal 3:26-27 confirms that we become sons of God, allowing us to stand before God, when we put on Christ in BAPTISM. The power is in the blood of Christ Jesus which He shed for us (1 John1:7). This is something to think about! May God bless each of you today with his love, mercy and grace. In His Love, Vic.

A Wednesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Greetings Everyone! Thank you for all your responses and comments.

"Heavenly Father, what a privilege it is to come into your presence by means of this prayer. Father, we pray that you will be active in helping us to share boldly our faith with others. Help us to overcome any inhibitions we have about sharing our faith with other believers and with unbelievers. We know there is no greater gift than giving someone your love and good news about salvation in Christ Jesus. But grant us the sensitivity to your leading us so others may be blessed for it. Grant us the perfect sense of timing and words which will touch all hearts. We ask with boldness for faith to share the loving God, to your praise, glory and honor. This we pray in Jesus' name, Amen!"

May deny the next part of salvation is necessary, but the scriptures are specific and plainly state that BAPTISM (Immersion in Water) is required, and is something that man must do. Mark 16:16 tells that he who believes and is baptized will be saved. Is a person saved before or without BAPTISM? No more than a person is saved before or without FAITH! In Acts 2:38, Peter told the crowd to repent and be BAPTIZED for the remission ofyour sins. Peter was not speaking to saved people, but to unsaved people. In Acts 22:16, Paul was told to arise and be BAPTIZED and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. 1 Peter 3:21 tells us, "BAPTISM doth also save us". TO Be Continued!
May God's grace and blessings be upon each of you today. In His Love, Vic.
