A Thursday Morning Prayer and Message!

Thursday, September 30, 2010

Aloha Everyone! Let's remember to share these morning prayers and messages with love ones and friends.

"Heavenly Father, we approach your throne of grace with confidence, so we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our hour of need. We thank you for Jesus, our High Priest, who knows our weaknesses, who was tempted in every way just like us, yet was without sin. Because You, Jesus, understand our struggle, we can come to You and receive mercy instead of justice. Help us to approach You in confidence, knowing You will strengthen us and love us in our hour of failure and need. You will have compassion on us and received us and meet our every need. This we pray in Jeus' name, Amen!"

The Bible says BAPTISM is necessary to salvation. The source or power to FORGIVE is not in the water, nor in faith, nor in repentance, nor in confession, but that power is in the blood of Jesus Christ. That power is applied to us in BAPTISM when we meet the conditions God has set forth in the scripture. Rom 6:3-7 tells us that in BAPTISM, we put on Christ, we are buried with him in BAPTISM, we are raised in newness of life, and we are freed from sin. Gal 3:26-27 confirms that we become sons of God, allowing us to stand before God, when we put on Christ in BAPTISM. The power is in the blood of Christ Jesus which He shed for us (1 John1:7). This is something to think about! May God bless each of you today with his love, mercy and grace. In His Love, Vic.

A Wednesday Morning Prayer and Message!

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Greetings Everyone! Thank you for all your responses and comments.

"Heavenly Father, what a privilege it is to come into your presence by means of this prayer. Father, we pray that you will be active in helping us to share boldly our faith with others. Help us to overcome any inhibitions we have about sharing our faith with other believers and with unbelievers. We know there is no greater gift than giving someone your love and good news about salvation in Christ Jesus. But grant us the sensitivity to your leading us so others may be blessed for it. Grant us the perfect sense of timing and words which will touch all hearts. We ask with boldness for faith to share the loving God, to your praise, glory and honor. This we pray in Jesus' name, Amen!"

May deny the next part of salvation is necessary, but the scriptures are specific and plainly state that BAPTISM (Immersion in Water) is required, and is something that man must do. Mark 16:16 tells that he who believes and is baptized will be saved. Is a person saved before or without BAPTISM? No more than a person is saved before or without FAITH! In Acts 2:38, Peter told the crowd to repent and be BAPTIZED for the remission ofyour sins. Peter was not speaking to saved people, but to unsaved people. In Acts 22:16, Paul was told to arise and be BAPTIZED and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. 1 Peter 3:21 tells us, "BAPTISM doth also save us". TO Be Continued!
May God's grace and blessings be upon each of you today. In His Love, Vic.

A Tuesday Afternoon Prayer and Message!

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

Goooooooooooood Afternoon Everyone! Thanks again for all your responses and comments.

"Heavenly Father, we thank you, the God we serve, for all the brethen in Christ Jesus. Help us to not forget anyone in our prayers, but with clear conscience both day and night, to remember everyone in our prayer. Show us the brethen eho feel forgotten so we can remember them. Bring specifis brethen to mind who need our prayers, who need healing, who need fforgiveness, who need encouragement, who need our love. Show us who needs to hear your word to guide them in the way that leads to glory and heaven. Enable the brethen for whom we pray to sense your love, grace and mercy in their lives. And bless them, for this we ask and pray in Jesus' name, Amen!"

We see the need for Confession, according to scripture, as man's part in God's salvation. What are we to confess? Jesus said in Matt 10:32-33 that if we confess Him before men, He will confess us before the Father; and if we deny Him, He will deny us before the Father. In Matt 16: 15-18, when Jesus asked the Disciples, "Whom do men say that I am"", Peter confessed, "Thou art the Christ, The Son of the Living God". This is the confession we too have to make in order to be saved. Other examples of confession are found in John 1:49; 4:42; 9:35-38; Acts 8:36-38, etc. This is something to think about! May heaven's blessing be upon each of you today, In His Love, Vic.

Amen and Amen brother. We need to confess Jesus as our Lord and stand up for what we believe so others may believe and live for Christ.

A Monday Morning Prayer and Message!

Monday, September 27, 2010

Aloha Everyone! We thank each of you who respond to the daily prayers and messages, and trust that the rest of you are being strengthened and encouraged by them. Now todays prayer and message:

"Heanely Father, glorious God, help us to lift up holy hands in prayers to you, without anger or dispute, but in a spirit of unity. Help us to find true believers who will stand with us in prayer, in worship, and in devotion to you. Create godly prayer partners in our lives so we can pray in power. Enable us to be so devoted to you that we will maintain a oneness of the Spirit. Help us to set aside our differences and opnions, and be one in Christ Jesus, our Lord, and towards one another. Help us to be unified in our belief in your Word, so we can be unified also in our prayers. Bless us Father, for we ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen!"

We have seen thus far, our part (Man's Part) in response to God's gift to us, our salvation: Hearing; Believing; Repenting; and Obeying. Now let's look at CONFESSION!

Romans 10:9-10 tells us that with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Note that faith alone is not enough. Here is a physical act that must be done with the mouth to be saved....One Must Confess. To deny we need not do anything to be saved is to deny the Word of God that we need to confess. What is it that we must CONFESS? We will look at other scriptures on this topic next time. May God bless each of you today with his love, grace and mercy, Vic.

A Saturday Morning Prayer!

Saturday, September 25, 2010

Loving Father, how can we measure greatness, except by your standards? You have given us the greastest commandment of all, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love one another as we love ourselves. We witness daily powerful results in our lives when we obey these two commandments, and we are amazed! Yet it is a simple command, one that is easy to obey, and all too often we fall short of reaching that goal. Help us to keep focus on You and guide us daily to be all that we can be for your service. This we pray and ask in Jesus' nmae, Amen! May God Bless each of you this weekend, In His Love, Vic.
