A Wednesday Morning Prayer!

Heavenly Father, we pray that we may find the strength we need in Jesus to resist temtations. Create in us a pure heart. Renew a ssteadfast spirit within us. Do not cast us from your presence nor from the Holy Spirit. Restore in us the joy of your salvation and grant us a willing spirit. Help us to come to You at the first sign of temptation. Enable us to turn our thoughts away from the sin and towards our Lord who washes us from all our sins by his own blood.
These things we pray today in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen!

Do we seek God's peace? God has assured us that if we seek we will find; if we ask we will receive; and if we knock the door will be opened to us. The problem is that although we know this, we do not live like we believe it. It would be good for us to remember that whatsoever we sow we shall reap. Sowing is not just believing something; it's proving it by doing it (Living It). So live bountifully and experience the peace that comes from God. We do not even have to understand it...just do it and enjoy it. May God Bless Everyone Today, Vic.

Heavenly Father, what a blessing it is to confessing our sins to you. When we acknowledge our sins to you and do not cover up our inquities, we are blessed with forgiveness from you and you remove the guilt from us. We don't w ant anything ever to separate us from the love, grace and mercy that you offer us daily. Enable us to remove the wall of unconfessed sins between us; whether they be thoughts, something we said, or something we did. If we are too blind to see the truth about ourselves, reveal that truth to us so that we can be pleasing in your sight as we confess all our sins to you. This we pray in Jesus' name, Amen! Heavenly Father, we look to You our God as Our Protector. You see the oppression of the weak; you hear thr groaning of the needy; protect us from those who malign us. We are grateful for all the times you protect us from disasters. There are so many ways you have kept us from harm, and for these times we are grateful. There have times you kept us from harm and we were not even aware of it, and again we thank you. Protect us and our reputations as christians from those who seek to destroy us. Thank for hearing our prayer, for protecting us, and for your promises to keep us safe. These things we pray in Jesus' nmae, Amen! May God Bless Everyone, Vic.
