Bountiful Baskets

Hey, I don't know if anyone out there is interested, but have you heard of Bountiful Baskets? It's a fruit and veggie co-op. Their website is Bountifulbaskets.org. Click on locations and see if they are in your area. If they aren't, you can start an area! It's a great deal. I went once to Denver from Cheyenne to see how it worked and if I wanted to start a co-op here in Cheyenne. It didn't seem like the produce was good for the amount I paid. Now there is a group in Laramie, and I have been going there. It has been really good, and the best thing is someone is trying to get one started here in Cheyenne! Hooray. Try it, you'll love it!

    Many years ago, I belonged to a fruit and veggie co-op when I lived in RI. Nowadays, I get a fair amount from our local food bank.

Finished up Day 14!

I just finished day 14 of my exercise streak! A few slip ups on tracking, a little goody munching (but not too bad) and not getting enough water the past couple of days.

Overall pretty good. I am slowly getting stronger. I have increased my exercise from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. I still do have some 10 minute days though.

I was down 1.5 pounds this week.

I'm doing this challenge also and finished day 58 yesterday. It makes me feel so good to push myself - the fact that you have days of 30 minutes is fantastic! Keep it up!

Today is day 3 of my streak! I am going to keep this going! I feel pretty rough today, but I can do anything for 10 minutes. Glad to log my 10 minutes of fitness today. I want to reach my fast break goal this week. Glad to be able to try! emoticon

I have gone backward in weight and also in health. Today is a good day to get going again.

    Okay, time to get back to basics. For me, that means tracking every bite, lick and nibble on the Nutrition Tracker, measuring and weighing my portions to avoid the dreaded "portion creep" and being a little more active every day.

One great thing about starting again is we usually know more about how to eat healthier without feeling deprived; we also know what worked well and what didn't in the past.

You can do this. You have done it before. Let's get healthy. emoticon
