Doing Atkins

Maybe I shouldn't have said, "Trying Atkins", but "Doing Atkins". I've started, but I haven't been 100%. This was just unintentional. I'm still encouraged, and I'm tweaking it more and more every day. I love the fact that I'm never hungry, compared to starving while I count calories. It's hard, but I'm putting off weighing myself until the 25th, to give it enough time to see how its working.

I have been messaging about my plateau and how slow weight loss is going. Usually, I'm pretty upbeat and determined, but I still have to figure out another approach. I'm tired of staying the same weight week after week! Several years ago I joined Curves and answered a questionnaire which concluded that I was more "carb sensitvie" than "calorie sensitive" I recall going on a low carb diet and it working quite well.

So, I've decided to try it again. I mean, what do I have to lose but weight? I have been at this weight for far too long. I have been faithful, not perfect, but consistent. I should have lost at least 1/2 pound per week by now. The only thing I question about myself is; I have earned a lot of calories every day, through exercise, but I don't eat them. It just seems unreasonable to me. If the low carb eating doesn't work, I'll go back to my nutrition plan, and eat more calories when I earn more. I will continue to try different methods, but I will never give up! I believe that the Atkins-type diet will work for me though, because it's worked in the past. (And I didn't gain it back). I'm going to give it two weeks, and then weigh myself and see what happens.
