Freeing myself from the scale

I wish I wasn't so dependent on the scale. This morning I got up and weighed and got my feelings hurt badly. This is after a week of daily drinking a gallon of water, eating 1200 calories, and exercising until I can barely walk. I am going to put the scale in the back of the linen closet. Someone once told me, that the scale is not my friend. I'm tired of complaining (and I'm sure that everyone is tired of hearing) about how faithful I am but the scale isn't moving. I've got to stop singing this same old song. I am going to start weighing on the first day of the month only. In the meantime. I will remain faithful to my nutrition and exercise plan. God forbid, but if I only lose 2 pounds per month, so be it. At least I have many other NSVs!

But the whole weight loss experience; life, love, goals, and success, it's half full. thank you very much!
When the scale doesn't move, I just remember what the lottery promo says; "Somebody's going to win, why not you?" I say, "Somebody's going to lose (weight that is) why not me?"And I'm going to keep on pushing until I do!


I Found my Tracker!

Well, hallelujah! I found my tracker, but even before I did, I purposed to really work out today, and watch my diet, period. So far today, I've done great! I still have the Lion's share of cardio left to do. I am very encouraged and motivated! I have a new plan! It is clear and concise, and fits me very well.

Not as "on point" this weekend as I want to be but I am hitting it hard again tomorrow!
I lost or shall I say, misplaced my tracker. I am going to keep looking until I find it. Until I find it, I am going to manually track my activity. After all, that's what I did before I got my tracker, right? I'm learning that not all days are perfect, but just need to keep trying.
