It's called The Big Burn, I found it on ebay, but it's also on Amazon too. It's intervals of jogging...about 90 seconds each.

28-Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge - Day 16

30 minutes on the stationary bike...then the bootcamp video

I'm ready to be doing different videos...I really wish they would put some music with the videos they make...would it really be that hard to play a stereo when they record them?

It can get tedious when you're trying to workout and there's no beat! That's why my home theatre peeves off my neighbours when I work out lol emoticon

Hi Terry! I'm doing Slim in 6 now...it has music, but it is sooooooooooo boring and uninspiring. Therefore, I blast my own favorite music on the CD player or radio. It really helps me get through the work out. I couldn't do it without playing my own music really loud. LOL!

Amp up your own music and go!

emoticon on losing one pound. As you get in better shape the videos get too easy (or at least that's what I found) but if you stick it out, you'll enjoy the results! emoticon

weighing in on the wii fit...

Friday, April 15, 2011

Since I started this journey I have been weighing in on the wii fit...choosing to have it minus 2 lbs for my "light" clothes. I know the clothes I usually wear don't weigh a whole 2 lbs...but the other options were to weigh with my clothes on and not deduct anything or strip nekkid right there in the living room! O.O

Well...today I stripped nekkid and weighed on my bathroom scale (which happens to be a pretty nice scale, albeit dusty...LOL) and I weighed 246.5 lbs. That happens to be what the wii weighed me at last week deducting 2 lbs for my clothes.

Then I went to the living room and weighed on the wii as usual, clothes on and taking off 2 lbs., weight was 245.6 lbs. So then I stripped nekkid again (right there in the living room...the horror! hehe) and weighed again not deducting anything, it said I weigh 246.3 lbs. A difference of only 2/10 compared to the bathroom scale. So I figure my clothes actually weigh just over 1 lb.

The reason for all of this? I'm tired of the wii fit saying "that's obese" every time it weighs me! Like I don't already know that?!? And the music it plays right before it says it...dun dun dun...UGH!

I'm switching to weighing on my bathroom scale from now on. No more of the wii fit criticizing me! LOL The way I see it, I've actually lost about a pound this week...YAY! Although my little ticker won't reflect that loss because of the switch. But I'm ok with that because I know that I have lost.

The Wii is very discouraging! I am tired of hearing that I am obese too. The things doesn't even take into account that I've lost 80 pounds while using it:( Goodluck on your journey!

I am weird about weighing. Sometimes I weigh once a week, sometimes I weigh five times a day because I'm just "curious". LOL. I weigh on the Wii and at the gym too even though it really doesn't tell me anything if I'm not using the same scale, right? And the one I use for "official" weight, I move it around the kitchen until I like better what it says. Ha. I figure its right when it says the lowest thing it can find to say.

Good job on your pound, whether it gets to count or not this week! emoticon
