Tomorrow is a new day and a new year. Been here before, and wanting to get healthy but never quite manage to get there. This year will be different as I am determined. I have a new knee so have a new chance to improve.

  Ok had a few setbacks and realized it is three months into the new year and have not made a lot of progress, but doing 1x a week PT at Rex and committed to 2x a week at my local gym as a challenge. I was told the challenge ended last week but wanted to keep it going. So I am keeping the challenge up for me. Everyday is a new day to start anew and reach a goal for that day. emoticon

    Well, it is the middle of Jan. how is it going? It is hard to keep that enthusiasm going some times but I too hope this year will be the time I get this weight off. emoticon

Moving along

Today was gorgeous with sunny and a slight breeze. I walked an extra 5 houses up and back today. My goal is to reach 1000 steps with my pedometer. Two days ago I was so sore I thought I couldn't do it, but today wasn't so bad!! I don't quite have the eating under control but am working on it. I was bummed today because I had made plans to go out with a friend today and the weather would have been perfect. But she just blew me off and didn't talk to me. Later she texted me she was hungry and going out shopping. Oh well I should think of it as "her loss". So getting ready for bed and will be ready to go again in the morning. I am going back to work next weekend so trying to get more energy,
