I feel so tired now. Does anyone watched "I dream of Jeannie?" That was one of my favorite TV program. Times like this, I wish I am her. With a blink and a nod, it's done!

It is hard for me to lift a finger to type. I should go do the dishes and get a shower before I continue SP.

It is always so very busy in the weekends! Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!

I got a surprise today

I got a surprise in the mail today. I was not expecting to receive my new Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) until much later.

Walk for 30 minutes in the morning. Took daughter for her Tae Kwon Do lesson at Peak Sports Club. Went on treadmill for 30 minutes. Got Arby's for dinner because I want to watch the Olympics Opening. Still trying to watch and SP at the same time. I think they have way too much commercials (advertisements.) I do not know how much longer I can take it. It is already 9:40pm here.

So happy to let everyone know that not only my daughter got her new Tae Kwon Do uniform yesterday, today she received her blue tape and red tape on her belt. The blue one is for the kicks and the red one is for the blocks and strikes. She will be working on her black tape which is for her form. Master Kim wrote her name in Korean on her uniform.

I went on the treadmill for 30 minutes at the Peak Sports Club. Walk 30 minutes this morning.

It seems I cannot win

It seems I cannot win. I tried to go to bed earlier last night and I did go to bed at 11:00pm. I thought I will be able to get 8 hours of sleep if I woke up at 7:00am. The severe thunderstorm woke me up just after 4:00am. I heard lightning and thunder strike real close to our house. I also hear the fire truck siren. Later, in the afternoon I found out from Betty (our neighbor from across the street) her grand-daughter's house on the next street to ours has been struck by lightning. Lightning struck directly above where the kids were sleeping. Luckily, everyone is not hurt. House is gone, big hole in the roof, everything is soaked.
I tried to go back to sleep but not soundly. Finally, I got out of bed at 7:30am. Went for my nail appointment at 9:30am. Came home around noon. Have lunch at home with daughter. Walk around a bit. Go on SP. Now blogging. Going to leave for Peak Sports Club at 4:30pm. Take daughter and JC to Tae Kwon Do lesson and I will go on the treadmill. That's it for now.

Yeah, unfortunately fate intervenes with our plans often. I hope you will get better luck with sleep on next nights :D How about try ear plugs, in case there might be storms again? I shuddered to think that the kids might get hurt from the lightning, good thing everyone's not hurt. Report Inappropriate Comment

We had storms here too, but they were much more serious in southeastern Wisconsin. The Kenosha area was hit hard. I'm glad that no one was hurt and I hope you sleep better tonight. Report Inappropriate Comment
