... take a picture of the daffodils before the thunderstorm came yesterday! emoticon

I have not been sleeping very well the past few nights due to hot flashes. I am kind of edgy and tired due to not having enough sleep.

It has been raining nearly everyday here. It is normal as we are having April showers and it will bring May flowers. I know I should be thankful that it is not snow. We do not have to shovel rain. hehehe... I am all better now.

Take care & have a fabulous day! emoticon

  I know exactly what you mean. We have had so much rain, but I think that your area has had even more than we have. It has to end soon. Take care and I hope that you have nights with better emoticon .

    Yes, sometimes we have to search a little deeper to find our blessings. Hope you are feeling better soon. I was rather lucky, don't remember ever having a "hot flash'. So many things I have taken for granted, and they were God given blessing, I am sure. I try not to complain about the cool rainy/inclement weather lest it be followed by a drought/hot humid weather. I look forward to the just right in-between... not too hot, not too cool, not too wet, not too dry.

... - 47 days to go! emoticon

My youngest daughter and I will be going back to Malaysia this summer to spend time with family and friends, particularly my mother. Air tickets are so expensive. Hence, my hubby is not going. My daughter will be 12 in June. So, hers is full fare.

As usual, there will be businesses I have to attend to. Am I excited? Yes and No. I am excited that I could see my family and friends again, particularly my grandbaby girl (6 months old now) and my nephew (15 months old now) for the first time. There will also be the "Tea Ceremony" for both my son (34) and daughter (31) were married last year. I do not like the long journey. I will be going from Chicago O'Hare - Hong Kong - Kuala Lumpur.

Take care and have a fabulous day! emoticon

A prayer to share

Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank You for not just loving me and removing my sins, but for also giving me Your everlasting righteousness. You ARE my righteousness ó today, tomorrow and forevermore. And because I am righteous, I will REIGN IN LIFE through You. I will reign over sin and sickness, and live a life that glorifies You!

A couple of updates

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Hubby's spine surgery on Feb 27 went very well. Two weeks after surgery, he had to go for physical therapy. He is healing very well. On Tues, Apr 9, 2013, Dr Roh, neuro surgeon, has given him medical clearance to go back to work on Mon, Apr 15, 2013. Praise the Lord!

My daughter just passed her Tae Kwon Do last Fri, Apr 5, 2013. She is now blue belt.

Our church is having the Annual Attic Treasure Sale from Apr 11 - 13. I volunteered to help in this event today and tomorrow.

Also, this evening was Fine Arts Night at my daughter's school. They have art display, art hunt, face painting, take home craft and book fair. We bought six books for her and one for her teacher.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day! emoticon

  What wonderful news all the way around. Your husband is very fortunate that his back healed so quickly. If he is like my husband, he is probably anxious to get back to work and into his normal routine.
Congratulations to your daughter..........she has moved along so quickly and must be very talented.
Have a great weekend.

A psalm of David
Confidence in Godís grace
THE LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for his nameís sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence
of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the
LORD for ever.

    Yes, we are so fortunate. Such a wonderful "Heavenly Father" is our God.
Last fall our prayer group read/discussed 'A Shepard Looks At The 23rd Psalm' by Phillip Keller. You too might enjoy reading that book.
