A man and his wife were sitting in the living room and he said to her, "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
His wife got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all of his beer.

The time we had to leave to go to the doctor's office is when it started raining. Went to the doctor's office at 2:45pm. Based on the symptoms I had last Sunday and the doctor did not see anything wrong with the EKG, she said it is panic attack or anxiety attack. The stress/anxiety is related to my peri-menopause issue. This is not new to me as I was diagnosed with this since Jan 12, 2011. It has been under control for awhile and now I have an episode. I need to go for a stress test and blood test. The good news is I am back on exercise.
After the doctor's, we proceed to the CVS Pharmacy for my meds. There was an error on the dosage and quantity on the prescription. One of the ladies working in the pharmacy changed the dosage and quantity which is unacceptable. I had to go home and call the doctor's office to try to square things away but the nurse was unable!
I could not wait for the phone call at home because I had to send my daughter for her Tae Kwon Do class at Peak Sports Club. So, my hubby went back to the doctor's office to get prescription corrected. Whilst at Peak, I got on the treadmill for 30 minutes. We are definitely changing pharmacy because over the past three years they have been messing up a lot with my hubby's meds too. Also, you tell them DO NOT CALL US - they still call us to bug us for refills (automated & live person.) The dissatisfaction list is so long, I think I better stop here.
Once I got home from Peak, we had to run back to the pharmacy again but it was not ready for collection. It was already 7:00pm. We had to wait for it to be filled! Needless to say, dinner was late today. It is still raining here. Well, I should not complain but it is just so inconvenient when you have to go in and out....
Oh, before I forget, I did go for a slow 30 minute walk this morning.

Had Dannon Activia blueberry yogurt, extra small banana, 1 cup soy milk with 3/4 cup Kashi GoLean crisp toasted berry crumble cereal for breakfast.
1 serving of steamed pork with preserved vegetables, 1/4 servings rice, and 1 large peach for lunch.
Got to have 3 pieces of Sesame crunch candies for snack. Dinner was late because I had to take my daughter to her Tae Kwon Do class at Peak Sports Club. It is day three I have to take a break from exercises until I see my doctor tomorrow.
Dinner is 3 servings of O'Tasty Vegetable & Chicken Dumplings. My girlfriend, Lucy gave it to us. When my hubby told me it is good, I did not really believe him. I thought he was just trying to make me happy. So, when I took the first bite, I was like, dang, this is good! By the way, I steamed it. 1/2 cup Maeda-en Green Tea Ice Cream for dessert.

Schedule an appointment with my doctor this Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in the afternoon. She is available only at the office I go to on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Has been lying down most of the day. Went to Peak Sports Club with hubby and daughter. I just watched them swim. The nurse told me if I do not feel good, do not exercise. Informed the Aqua Zumba instructor that I will not be able to do any exercise till I check with my doctor.
This is day two, I am taking a break from my SP challenges.

I was sent to OSF Saint Anthony ER around 2:00am on August 5, 2012. I went to bed around midnight. I could not sleep. At around 1:00am, I had the following:
1. Chest pains;
2. Canít breathe properly;
3. High Blood Pressure;
5. Numbness and sweaty hands.
I was scared so I wake my hubby around 1:30am. He gave me two aspirins but I was still having all the above symptoms. He decided to take me to the ER. Wake my daughter up and we were on our way.
When we arrive at the ER, they did EKG and triage me. Blood pressure was like 140 something/120 something. They said they did not see any problems with my EKG. We waited at the ER until after 3:30am, still no room for me yet. My hubby went to the front desk to check when it is our turn to be seen by the doctor. There were quite a number of patients waiting to be seen. Front desk told him someone has been waiting for 3 Ĺ hours. A few other patients were leaving because they could not wait any more. Before we check in, my hubby told them if they are too busy, he would take me to another hospital. After that, front desk checked and came back to us to say that it will be a long wait before our turn. Thatís when my hubby decides to leave.
In the car, my hubby asked me if I want to go to another hospital or home. I looked tired besides having chest pains. I have calm down so I opt to go home. When we arrive home, my daughter made me a bowl of Instant Oatmeal Peaches & Cream. This is the first time my eleven year old prepared something for me. I was getting so much attention from hubby and daughter. I guess I scare my hubby and daughter too. All this time, I have been praying to the Lord to help me get through and He answered my prayers. Praise the Lord and Thank You, Jesus Christ!
I do not feel 100% well yet. I feel very tired, chest does not feel 100% great but I am well enough to do this now. I will call my doctorís office tomorrow to see if I can be seen this week.
Meanwhile, I am taking a break from my SP challenges today.
