First day of the rest of the daysMonday, May 21, 2012Today is Monday and I'm starting another week off on the right foot. I've resolved to take things one day at a time and every week starts another opportunity to shed 2 or 3 lbs. Can't wait to get started! Slept really well last night (well, I sleep during the day) and the kids didn't wake me up too much. Now I'm home from work and ready to go to bed and sleep another 7 hours. I've found that if I sleep less than that I'm a zombie, but I just don't need 8 hours of sleep a night. I feel tired if I sleep too much as well. So, all in all a good start to the week. Slept well, ate pretty well and have a good attitude. Tonight is Zumba, my favorite, so I'm really looking forward to dancing my butt off (literally). I accredit about half of my weight loss to Zumba and definitely my good mood! I can't stop smiling for hours after all that great music! ![]()

Today has not started like I had planned (but when does it ever). I haven't accomplished anything on my to do list, but I'm still having a fabulous day. It must be a good mirror day because when I was getting ready this morning I looked particularly thin and my husband made a comment that I looked terrific in my jeans today! Little compliments like that make my whole day go well even if it's not what I had planned. Tonight is Zumba so I'm excited to get to the gym; haven't been there in a while. Hope I can keep up with the class tonight, I am so uncoordinated it's funny. :)
