Okay, I'll give it a try. Basically, I was doing really really well with gym for over a year (closer to two years). My motivation tool was simple, I had a calendar on the fridge and if I went to the gym or exercised for at least half an hour I got a smiley face on the calendar. More than an hour rated a huge grin with dimples. Less than half an hour but still some exercise? A squiggle for a mouth on my little markered face. No exercise? XX'd out eyes and a frown. Simple and effective. I went to the gym at least three times a week, often more. But I lost NO WEIGHT. I told myself that wasn't the point, I was getting healthier (and I was, I had more stamina). Then my mother-in-law came to visit, ended up staying for two months because she broke her ankle and somehow I haven't been the gym in two months.
So I need to go back and this time I want my old pants to fit. Tracking food, drinking less, and getting my exercise back on. Let's see how it goes.
