Got up this morning and went to my regular cafe to see friends and have breakfast. Ended up going to a noon movie to see X-Men with one of them. Found out he was a movie freak so I guess we'll be doing flicks from time to time. Cool. You know you gotta have friends.
D and I went to dinner at a seafood place we wanted to try. We're so lucky to have fresh fish down here on the Gulf. After I had logged my food, I found that catfish had way too much fat content. Don't need that. I checked out a table online that showed exactly that. Lowest in fat? 1 to 4 grams...
Cod, Flounder, Haddock, Halibut, Pike, Rainbow Trout, Red Snapper, Rockfish, Smelt, and Tuna. Highest on the table was Mackerel 18 grams! Just wanted to share.
Got home after dinner, took a break then knocked out my new strength training I put together. I'm really happy with it as I do it 3 days a week and it's overall body. We'll see how it goes. I'm always ready to tweek the plan if needed.
Be safe. Enjoy a healthy weekend. Out.

Ran around today, shopping for new pillow case covers for my new king down pillows. They are always a cool temp, much firmer, and good for side sleepers. I need a good night's sleep. I also had to replace a pool chaise pillow. Yes, life is tough. I also stopped at Sears to inquire about a possible repair on my car. ..$265 I went to my local auto shop . ..$65! Sweet!
(ARE YOU STILL AWAKE? TALK ABOUT BORING YOU GUYS!)
I had stopped earlier at Autozone to get replacement headlight and fog light bulbs. They installed them for nada! Sears wanted $25. Came home, comfort dinner was pizza, then we did our walk. My pace was better and I liked that. Oh, I'm up to 166.2 now. I'm going to have to pay attention to change. The shower was good and I'm relaxing for the evening! Have a peaceful night!

Had my followup with my Dr. today. This was the first since I left the hospital. Basically, he said be careful but do I wanted to do cardio and strength training wise. I advised him of my plan and he was cool. I still need assistance and will call back concerning a nutritional plan that will supplement building a little muscle. I do not want to add fat weight. All I have to do though is "listen" to my body! I believe that I was a bit too aggressive in losing that much weight since the end of January. I was hitting the cardio and my body reacted to it big time. To complicate things, I was having a hard time hitting the low end of my calorie window. Live and learn. I'm taking it moderately now and just trying to be safe about it all. I can do this. Out.

I got up at 6:00am and saw my wife out the door to work, did some Sparkin', took a nice shower, went to breakfast, went to Publix and Palm Harbor Natural Foods for some Rosemary and collect ingredients for dinner, mailed out letters, folded towels, had Bright House come and straighten out a bad internet modem/router, started my Baked Mojo Pork Center Cut Loin for dinner, had dinner with Dssecrets, (she loved the pork, black beans and brown rice!) then took my first walk since I left the hospital, (I got a good sweat and my breathing was great. Missed our walk time together.) updated my Sparkin' and now I'm gonna chill. Have a great evening, Y'all!

I went into Fitness Tracker and put my own strength training together for Mon, Weds, & Fri. It is composed of 17 sets involving core, upper body, and lower body. I'll be doing light cardio on Tues, Thurs, and Sat.
I spoke to friend who is a personal trainer and pharmacologist. We have breakfast at a coffee house along with the band of usual suspects at least 2 or three times a week. He knows how I've trained over the last 5 months and saw me hit trouble.
I told him what I was going to do, based on my research on SP. He said it was sound, to add protein, work on strength and build a little muscle.
It feels good to ramp up a new program. I'm just going to take it easy and listen to my body. I go for my first followup with my Dr on Weds. I had registered for a 5K about a month ago so I'm asking him if I can walk it at a reasonable pace. He clears me, I'll watch myself.
