Super stressed

One of my emails was hacked. Followed by my Facebook. And today I discover my cell service was deactivated and my billing history deleted. Someone is seriously bored or mistakenly ambitious. Nothing is connected to my home address or bank account so they wasted their time. Unless the goal was to irritate me and give me a lot of busywork getting things reorganized! Arrrrgggghhhhhh!

So tell me diet doesn't matter! Puhllllleze! I just saw an Olympic swimmer interviewed. He ate McDonald's morning noon and night most of his life. Including through the Beijing Olympics. And a few months ago he started eating real food and he said every practice was perfect week after week! He is now tied with Michael phelps! I wish I could remember his name. It was good to hear. Congrats to him!!!

Calories in calories out my butt! Lol. What we eat matters too:)

    No I'm not confused. The is plenty of scientific evidence that how our bodies process food is chemically altered by the type of food we eat. That certainly isn't challenged by one individual who did something ridiculous to no good end. Of course he lost weight. His body was probably devouring itself. He may as well have been eating nothing. Anorexia works too.

I'm not weight loss centric in my thinking. Lifestyle and health come 1st. Whole foods that nourish can change a persons life:)

    Well, I say eating whole foods keeps our bodies healthy and gives us energy to live the active lifestyle we enjoy. There are a lot of thin people with health problems from all the horrible foods their metabolisms allow them to eat without adding extra pounds. It still clogs their arteries, causes cancer, high cholesterol, etc., etc. Obese people are just more obvious, but we all NEED to eat healthy, whole foods to live a long and enjoyable life.

    I think you're mixing concepts. I don't think anyone has really disputed that eating quality food will help performance. The calories in/out hypothesis applies specifically to weight loss. For example, the Twinkie diet where a person ate nothing but Twinkies and still lost weight more or less proves calories in/out. Now throw the Twinkie eater into a pool and have him swim and I bet he chokes something fierce.

    Yes what you eat does matter allot. I have never gauged myself with others because we are all very different. I do gage myself on how I really feel. Not what I think but what my body is saying to me. It took me along time to listen to my body. It is well worth it. Have a healthy day!

I start school in a week! Yay me! Doing IIN and eCornell's Plant Based Diet Nutrition Certification course. It's based on The China Study. super excited! I've wanted to do this FOREVER!

Opening a Wellness Center has been in the back of my mind since the mid '90's. I see it happening within 2yrs:)

And I mostly have a handle on the iPad now. It's a little tricky after using nothing but Wang and windows for 20something years. No flash is bugging me. Cn't spin the bonus wheel without it. So I've decided I have to let go of my spark points foals and hang onto my streak goals. Was hoping to create my own streak goals on the site but my need to download a habits app to do it!

I miss chatting with everyone! Hope you're all well and making progress!!!

    I have been having a problem with FlashPlayer as well, but they still tell me to "click here" to get my sparkpoints for the wheels even though I can't see a wheel. Anyway, a Wellness Center! That's wonderful! Good for You! I look forward to hearing your progress on this. Enjoy your class.

That monte cristo is haunting me. I ate half thursday and half friday. ugh.

a few minutes ago i intended to do ALL of the bootcamp dvd. i only made it through the 2 cardio cycles then my body felt sooooooo depleted i had to quit. poor thing feels like it hasnt had any nutrition in a month. its gonna be a serious nutriblast day for me!!!

oh new one! mango peach arugula! yummo ;p

    when i feel icky from food, i drink a ton of seems to help. Or at least i feel like it does.....i figure it cant hurt. Hope you are feeling better!

Well.....not yet anyway! as of the 19th it was exactly 18weeks and 36# away from my birthday goal. This is a little exciting...okay...alot exciting! Using Bill Phillip's Transformation; Body for Life; and SparkPeople to pave the road for me.

Baby steps. I have a few more goals that I will accomplish over the next 18weeks........ and thanks to SparkPeople they will all be done through little tiny baby steps.

Yay Me!

    Yeah! Slow and steady wins the race is what I always tell my clients. But so many want it "right now" and aren't in it for the long haul. Reaching your goals will mean so much more if you take a journey to reach them.
