I'm still battling with the flu and icky cough that just won't go away; DAG-NAB-IT!!
On the bright side the days here in NorCal/Sacto have been gorgeous! Delicious! Fantastically beautiful!!! The wildflowers are really starting to pop. I just love spring time in the valley soooooooooo much!!
My little 1991 toyota-bug is starting to show her age (and the fact that I've been hard on her). I apparently don't know my own strength, and the drivers side "handle bar connecty-thing" on the door busted up when I shut the door last week. So Tuesday dad & I went in search of toyota parts to fix her up with, and were introduced to the weird but kind of funky cool auto-dismantling/wrecking subculture here in SacTown. Utimately, we found the part we needed at a Toyota dismantler on Sunrise Boulevard for only $10! We felt like we had hit the mother load. However, dad and I spent the rest of the day trying to fix the door, but we did it!!! That afternoon, we took her in to the mechanic to fix leaky power steering situation that I've let get out of hand. I'm feeling terrible about the abuse, and of course worried about the bottom line cost for this repair, but that's how it goes.
On the SparkFront, I must report a very exciting development! One of my new SparkFriends is coming up to Sacramento next week and we are going to connect!!! How cool is that???!!!
Well, keep that SparkMail coming. The encouragement is awesome!
