Here I go again

Friday, October 07, 2011

Just when I thought I'd be home for a while I find out I need to go back to New Hampshire. I was hoping I could get back to my routine. I walk when I'm there and go golfing, but it's not the same. I try to watch what I eat, but we stay with my niece and she's an excellent cook. Plus we eat out alot, and the salt gets me. Oh, well. Here I go again.

I know it's silly but I, too, started to pay attention to the points. I even log in the points for reading the spark e-mails.

emoticon I'm the same . I get only 3 or the best 5 . the worst thing is that I tend to tie it with how things will go on that day , like a fortune teller . I think it would be better to spin at the end of the day emoticon

Cancer won again!

Friday, July 01, 2011

I'm back from Louisana. Johnny lost his battle on Fathers Day. He was surrounded by friends and family. His last words were "Lord take me home", so I know he's in a better place and out of his pain. Thank you for your prayers. Thankfully my daughter has her son with her for a couple of weeks. Then he'll have to go back to college in Philadelpha.

Cancer is winning again....

Thursday, June 09, 2011

I'm waiting for a call from my daughter in Louisana to tell me her husband has lost his battle with cancer. That will mean another trip. Can't seem to get doing anything. I exercize and that's about all I can keep my mind on. I found that the yoga relaxation tape helped yesterday, so maybe I'll try again today. Please pray for my daughter and her son. They need it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...having lost my last brother to cancer, I feel your pain...I am glad that you are keeping focus with your exercise...with all that's going on it is important to not forget about getting yourself where you need to be in order to be there for your daughter and her family...

Peace, love, and prayers coming your way...

I will pray for you. Our family was suffering through the same thing a few years ago with my mom. I would go to the grocery store, walk around in a daze and come out with nothing.

Relaxation and breathing can help reduce some to the stress and anxiety. Prayer out to your family. God Bless.

tried yoga....

Wednesday, June 08, 2011

I had a tape of Yoga Relaxation and decided to try it today. I enjoyed it, so I'll try it again. Think I'll work it into my regular schedule. SP suggests you change your rutine, so here goes.

I have been doing Dancing with the oldies 1 and 2, with Richard Simmons for years. Then I added walking. I'm up to 3 miles most days. Now Yoga. Should be enough.

Hope everyone is doing well. Good luck, all!!!
