Marathon #2 Training

I have never really stopped training since I started, however I have picked it up another notch and am working a 4 month program in preparation for a full marathon June 15th, 2008.

I want to qualify in this marathon for next year's Boston Marathon. If I do not get injured in training, I think I can do it! My times for 20 miles indicate I am right around there now with 4 months left......so, wish me luck and say a prayer for me!! :)

    I finally read the Johnny Miles story. I'm going to share it with my HM clinic and the FM runners at the Running Room. It's beyond motivational.

I got myself down to 150lbs right now. I want to be at 140-145 before my June 15th Marathon. I know the extra few pounds will help my time, as well, my back feels better the lighter I get.

My program is currently:
runnning 60+ miles avg/week
biking class 2-3 times per week
circuit training with weights 3-4 times/week
I also walk to work everday which is just under 2 miles each way.

Feeling Great! Weather...not so good

Really enjoying the running, however the slipping and sliding some days makes it slow and challenging. I love it though, so I get through them. :)
My diet and exercise program is working great, a have no major injuries and all is going according to plan at this time.

Getting it back together after injury

Hi all,
I am finally back at it and working my way back up in milage both on the runs and bikes. I am feeling good, but being cautious this time..... don't need any more setbacks right now. :)
Running about a 7 minute mile right now and working my way to 6:30/mi. for this coming season.

Getting better but a few more weeks to be 100%. I am letting it heal right the first time. :)
