A huge weight loss secret has been revealed to me this week

Thursday, April 17, 2014

This is holy week. I really feel the negative, the dark the fear, the angst, has got to go. I feel like we have a choice and we have the power to rid ourselves of all sickness, over eatting, self hate when we put our trust in GOD. I've come up a little higher this week. Our faith and trust is not in our job, other people, other things, our car, our education, our degrees
But in GOD. The God within us. I'm telling you the truth. A huge weight has been lifted off of me and I am forever changed. People will disappoint . Pick positives friends, let the rest go. And I will not allow people to let me down. I have put my faith in people too long. The wrong people. And that will end this week. I will put my faith and trust where it belongs. The rest will follow.

Which brings me to weight loss. Weight loss is nothing about the food. It all about your mind. You have to believe in yourselve. Surround yourself with positive people. Food should not be a struggle. You just have to believe that you deserve to look good, that you deserve to be your idea weight. You have to love yourself. Forgive yourself from the past hurts. We all have them. Forgive others. And you will set yourself free

I have been stuck all year not seeing the scale move much. Well its moving now, folks. I feel I have been spoken to. Its time to let go and let GOD and put all the spark principles to use. And folks, a huge weight has been lifted from me this week. And I feel in more ways then one. The weight is being lifted. The negative is being lifted. Thanks be to GOD
Its holy week. Rejoice and be glad

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice in it. You have made an epiphany! True, we must put our faith in God, but we must also make wise choices and work at being the best we can be, all for the greater glory of God. Have a happy Holy Week and a Blessed Easter!

You need to compete with your best self, and only that

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

I am preaching to myself over and over and soon it will be
You need to compete against your best self. And you are NOT your best self if you are overweight. This is one time, that itís all about you. You canít compare yourself to so and so who just lost 30 pounds. Or So and so who just lost 80 pounds. This is your battle to win. While you can look up to others for inspiration, they are not you. They donít have your body, your frame, your past. You must treat your body with the respect it deserves and not abuse it with trash, junk and waste. This body is your vehicle through life. Treat it well. Keep it fine tuned, keep it fit, make the right choices. For you. This is about you. Its time to take care of you. And the victory is yours. You deserve a great body. The time is right and the time is now

and victory is mine. Time to get serious, honest and change. I love what I read on Spark coach, if you change nothing, nothing will change. Time to change. Can do

The Best Things in Life are Free

Thursday, March 21, 2013

And that goes for diets. Iím a child of the 60ís. Back in those days, if you needed to loose weight, just run to the corner drug and pop some strong pills in your mouth. Trouble with that, you became dependent. The weight may be gone, but you had a dehydrated body, looked 25 years older, got no sleep & your heart pounded all night. You might loose weight, but were you going to make it through the night alive? Then came the 80ís into the 90ís with all the weight loss programs. What was the latest trend that was going to make you win the battle of the bulge, then into the 2000ís into now, Dr Oz would be announcing his latest herb to pop and weíd be running down to GNC to get the last bottle on the shelf. Then for me in 2003,I went to a shrink/nutritionist. That worked real well till winter came and all the weight came back and 2 years later I was crawling back for more. I spent a$17,000 in one year alone (out of pocket) for combined counseling and ďspecial shakes and food ď I had to get in order to win the battle. That was then Ö this is now. I was rich then. Now Iím not. Not in this economy. Spending money like that is not an option. All of these things were a crutch. Truth be told, we donít need to pay a dime to loose weight. We can do with SP, reprogramming our mind, 8 glasses of water and the knowledge that is out there.
My mind is made up. I refuse to pay someone to tell me what to eat, no more crutches. The real victory is in the mind. And it doesnít a dime to change your mind. Just do it.

I totally agree with you. All the advertisements for nutrisystem, only $10 a day, well that's $300 a month! It may take me longer but I will lose the weight and do it the right way by changing my lifestyle and making healthier choices. My best to you, we can do it!
