The best laid plans and all that. Had a death in the family which threw off the workout schedule for last week. So - here is the plan for this week.

Sunday - recover from high school reunion
Monday - cycle class
Tuesday- Boxing
Weds - Cycle
Thurs- Studio strength or body pump (depends on the quarter close schedule)
Friday - College class followed by drinks and a concert
Saturday - Drive to Mankato followed by drinks and a concert and a girly slumber party

Might be an intersting week. Imperative that I get the workouts in.

Having a hard time right now. I seem to be depressed. I don't really want to do anything besides sleep. I look at the hubby who has done so well and lost so much weight and I remember that the only reason he did anything is because the other option was divorce and I have a hard time not being bitter about it. I feel like I work out hard, but I must be doing something wrong. I am up 2 pounds again this week. With my 20 year high school reunion looming on Saturday, this was not a good week to be up. I know I don't know those people and I have nothing to prove to them but all the same I would rather walk into that yacht club feeling confident. (yeah they really chose a yacht club, seriously)

I can't do anything about what has happened in the last couple of weeks. Instead, I will focus on what I can do. So here is the plan.

Sunday - Studio Strength Class
Monday - Cycle Class
Tuesday - Boxing
Wednesday - Cycle
Thursday - Body Pump
Friday - Elliptical
Saturday - day off (oh and that high school reunion thing)

I need to focus on putting all of my exercises and calories in my respective trackers. AND I need to take the stairs more often at work and try to hit that delightful 2 mile walking path out back on my lunch breaks.

  


Boxing and cycling on back to back nights

Went to Boxing on Tuesday with a sinus infection - I did okay, not my best but considering I couldn't breathe so well it was great. Decided to hit the cycle class on Wednesday. I honestly thought about half way through that I was not going to make it even if I stayed in the saddle the rest of the class. But I pulled through and completed the class. At the end the instructor came over and told me I did well and that I should expect to be sore the next day. True - so true and in areas I never would have imagined hurting from exercising. But, I did it.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a binge week for me. Chocolate is particularly appealing and evil for me this week. I don't even really like Ho Ho's and I ate 2 last night. I will pull through it though. I know I can.

First workout in a week

Last night was my first workout in a week. It felt amazingly good considering that I cough every two seconds and have had a perpetual headache for a week. Boxing tonight. Back on track...

    Oh those headaches. I had a headache a few weeks ago that lasted most of the week. Glad you are back to working out and hopefully will be feeling better soon.
