I just figured out that I could be seeing the baby sleeping if we made arrangements to do a skype type Face time etc. feature. Every couple days they could connect up and I could just watch what baby is doing like sleeping or whining etc. Now why would they do this?
It might cut down on Grandma whining.

What a blessing is tech! My DD posts little video clips besides pix via FB, so I am enjoying watching my baby grandson progress, even tho he's so far away.

That is a fantastic idea. We don't have skype. Wish we had it when my boy was little so I wouldn't have had to listen to all the whining about never seeing him. MIL did the whining, and she always saw him at least once a week, and often 2-3 times a week. I would have gladly turned that on to tune her out! Nice that she loves him so much!!!

Haha :) That's an adorable baby in your wallpaper - must be a grandchild. I love Skype - it has definitely helped me feel more connected to friends and family!

Have a great day!

Kind of tired

Friday, January 03, 2014

I hate having to explain when I take off a day from fully exercising but I feel when I have a special heavy two days like I just had on the first and second I need to give my body a rest.
So no walk, no aerobics, no treadmill ... i just did what I had to do as far as house work.
took my friend Doris grocery shopping and started chopping on my apple tree which needs to be trimmed and spayed this month. Want to get all the tender branches off for the bunny before I spray. Met with a friend Delivered the tablecloths at church and I go to a meeting this evening.
Go God bless everyone this new year and make time every now and then to give yourself a day off from heavy exercise.
And while you are napping dream of places you would rather be.....

I don't necessarily exercise every day but I do get my minimum number of expended calories weekly.
Happy, Healthy New Year to you and yours!

Rest is very important. Without it, we get burned out. Love the new pic. Too funny, cause I had it in mind today to ask you to share a new one.

You do not have to explain anything to anyone. Our bodies need rest as much as good fuel, hydration and exercise. You did wonderful by listening to yours.

So Merry Christmas Eve. I am planning to go to Mass this evening and have a restful day tomorrow. Will visit our older son and his wife and then spend the evening at home.
Plan to make a turkey and take the meal tomorrow to his house.

Just cannot get enough of him.
So I keep track of everything posted on face book and on email.
I want to head back but just know the little family wants to be alone right now.
I will be able to stay in a week when son is working more.
I need to work also. But I just want to hang with little dude.

So he was born on Thursday morning, his mom and dad are fine.
Some grandparents and aunties came.We all put the seal of approval on our little 5.58 pound bag of sugar. Now they want a little time to get used to him before we visit again.... This is really hard.
