In order to get to my spark page I have to go to community, Push the drop down, go to spark pages, then go to blogs and then I finally get to where I can start my blog rant.
TOO MANY ADVERTISEMENTS THAT MOVE AND GET IN THE WAY!
I WANT TO BRAG ABOUT MY 10,000 STEPS in spite of a not very bad fall. ( I seem to be OK but am really mad at mysel for not being more careful. just a skinned knee and a sore thumb.)
But I should start getting credit for my water aerobics because the resistance work out I get here is toning my body and strengthening my abdominal muscles.
But steps only counts for a small part of what we do during the class.
But it is showing up as moderate exercise.
AND THE STUPID ADVERTISEMENTS GET IN THE WAY AND I CANNOT GET IT TO MOVE OVER. I AM NOT AGAINST ADVERTISING , AND I TRY TO SUPPORT THE SPONSORS, BUT REALLY! THEY SHOULD MOVE WHEN I WANT THEM TO MOVE.!!!

    Another way to get to your blog is by going to the Sparkpoints page and scrolling down the list to the different ways to get points, till you get to the one about Blogging.

    I know those ads, drive me crazy too, and it isn't just in Sparks, on the different game sites like pogo they pop up like crazy, but Congratulations on your 10,000 steps, that is my goal too,

    Kind of like being bombarded by locusts! I'm with you gal. I think many others would also rant if they had the courage. I've ranted before and didn't even make a dent in the mechanism of profit.

CONGRATULATIONS!! On perseverance, determination, 10,000K with a sore thumb and fall and of course water aerobics.

By the way next time you want to post a new blog from Start. Go down about 1/3rd page on the left slightly towards the center you'll see some selections of different things you can choose to do. One of those is post a new blog. Easy Peezy.

I made it to 10,000

so I walked in the pool because they had changed the starting time,
took the class,
walked to and from my chiropractic appointment,
Went to the store,
Had 22 very active minutes ( my current goal is 33 minutes a day.)

I love water exercise. Too bad the gym a block away doesn't have a pool. They'd get my membership for sure.

So I decided I was sore, I was tired and I am not pushing myself more than the short walk I took this morning. I will be happy with what I have done but tomorrow.. either at 9 or at noon or at 12 I will be at water aerobics and walking and back to work but for today I am just watching the view.

You'll get back to your exercises, it's great to change up like has been said. You can do this, at least you did some exercising and that alone is great.

    You need to make sure you are getting at least one rest day in a week if not 2 to help your body heal from the exercise the rest of the days. Take the rest day at different days. Change out your exercise every week so you body doesn't get used to it and get in a rut.

Over 10,000 steps every day

I have done my four water aerobics and walked 10,000 or more steps every day.
Now I have to admit I count what steps I get during the water aerobics so I am not posting the classes so I will not double dip on points.
I did yard work and walked and they were the times I got into the highest level of exercise .I am trying for at least 33 minutes a day.
Hubby walked with me tonight it was wonderful to be able to do some exercise together .
I am a little sore so I am wondering if I should take one day off.
But every day means every day, doesn't it?

    You have to listen to your body! Do a light day
I made a mistake once and didn't listen so I was down for 2 days

    Well, if you find yourself needing to rest one day, perhaps you can do extra steps over a few more days?
I don't "step" - rather I have other forms of cardio. And sometimes I do take a day off - as long as I meet my goal for the week.

Another week on plateau

So every day I am doing my exercise, but my food absolutely
( explitive deleted )
I am not always posting all my food especially the chocolate chip cookies and brownies I have from the pot luck last Sunday.
Good thing is I had to take in two pairs of pants that were too expensive to just donate.
But I am going through my clothes and am going to donate some things that I just dont wear and that don't quite fit correctly.
I got a really cute sweater from eco thrift ( on greenback and san juan) but it turns out it is a plus size sweater and hubby didn't like it on me. He likes to see my new found curviness.
After 46 years of marriage this is really an incentive.
So I have a Khols discount and I will get something for Children who are on the list to get something special for Christmas for our church. I recommend doing something similar so you will be able to give back for all the blessings that are in your life.

    When I had lost 70 pounds, some of her co-workers from Arizona were abuzz that my wife had apparently left her husband and had a new guy. We were at a function with some of these people, and she, having heard the rumors, introduced me as "Her sexy new husband."

SO I understand how even after a long marriage that new attention can be quite a nice thing.

Like you, I'm doing well with exercise, but portion control and some snacking keeps me spinning my tires.
