Too hot to go out and walk this afternoon but

I plan to get to water aerobics tomorrow but I am going to add a longer walk. I only do 20 minute mile.
I want to increse the intensity on dry land because I am having a harder time walking .
I just love the water aerobics and am doing it several times a week as well as the walks but the walks are way too leasurely. I just have to walk over to my local park in the morning before it gets too hot and do some fast walking. I used to have friends I met but they walk when I want to take water aerobics classes. I may just go to the gym and use the treadmill or take a class.
I want to get back to tai chi chah in the back yard.
I can do this.

SO I have decided to go out in the backyard and do tai chi chah each morning on the video disk on my disk player. I have decided to read from the scriptures each day something.
I have decided to continue my 1 mile walk. I have decided to do water aerobics 3 to 4 times or more a week.... but I really think I need to be more honest about what I am eating or I would be loosing.

    I track everything I eat...even when I WAY over indulge. Don't like it, but it keeps me real.

    Yes, the tracking of calories eaten is what helps me...but I'm not always faithful to that.
I like to use Biblegateway.com for my Bible reading.

I just want to feel not tired.
Love the Water aerobics but need to do it 4 times a week not 6.
have to find something else that I can do to get an alternative exercise to the swimming.
I walk every day for a mile but need to do something else.
Need to talk to the people at the gym about balance and strength training moves that will be safe for me to do. Want to know what i did to loose the eight inches in my waist ???
Oh well it is another beautiful day in Sacramento.

    I wish I had an answer on how to feel NOT so tired.
I think right now it is just this darned heat that we have been having.
4 days of water aerobics should be sufficient for you with the amount of walking you do. And those 8 inches in your waist? Where did you hide them?

    I am starting the January jump start challenge tomorrow
That uses the short videos here on spark which are good, safe and not too hard strength training

    I too need variety to keep from getting bored, and to keep my body from getting complacent. Wish I had a gf to walk with. Guess that's why I have so many exercise videos downloaded, so I can mix it up.

I planned the meal, pork loin roast rubbed with the care of a wonderful friend.
An old timey pot luck potato salad out of my better homes and garden cook book from 1966.
green salad with carrots and apples.
Watermelon.... it is un American if there is no watermelon.
Cup cakes and ice cream

I hope every one had as great a time cooking and sharing with others.

but I did find time to go for a walk.

I am one of the people who volunteer to cook, My absolute favorite thing to do, for a team of people,,, (Love to boss other's. and plan and cook a meal for 70 so ...... I really feel blessed I have had this opportunity for the last 10 years to do this. I just love doing it .



My son did it himself as a self help project.
cannot believe how nice it looks.

    Your son did a phenomenal job, it looks wonderful!

I'm sure that you are a blessing for those that you cook for. Commercial style cooking is not easy, but like all cooking, it goes better with love and people letting you know they enjoy it....
