Should I go over to the exercise club that just opened and check out how much it would cost me in money? The problem is I have only two part time jobs and I really do not think I will be able to afford what it costs. I am out of pocket for health insurance. I walk at the Mall and at parks because it is free. But I am stiff and would like some advise on stretching.
I really need to include some yoga and tai chi to my exercise.
So ladies let's see what happens.

    invest in the wii and the wii exercise wii board you can do it at home in your pace they have a wii team on spark you should check it out emoticon

    Are you most likely to stick to it going to an exercise club or exercise at home? That is the question... Some would rather do it at home and some need to get away from home and do it at the gym.

There are great exercises and videos on SP - do the fitness generator and it will figure it all out for you or the videos take just 10 minutes and of course you can play them over to get a longer workout. There are great stretches as well.

So if you need to go out to get a good workout - it will be worth it in the long run... or if you can get motivated by setting aside time at home - its cheaper.

Your choice - either would be good!

    I'm pretty new here at spark, but I would BET they have some good advice and suggestions for the stretches. I think the gym is overrated. If nothing else, get a yoga dvd (I like "Yoga for Weight Loss with Suzanne Deason") you can always use just the warm up part of this before your walk and you could even skip to the cool down part after your walk and that should help you with the stretches! Best of luck!

Well today I am thinking things are not important and it is what I do that makes a difference
It is the people in my life. Kindness is the answer.
Love is the only way. And I need to take care of myself first, because there is no one other than God who will take care of me.
I am doing what I am able and forgiving myself for the THINGS I cannot do yet.

I picked a picture to put here but It did not set yet I will try again.'But I am going to miss the Aug 31 through Sept 6th team. It was time to put it to sleep but I have kept posting on it. Since they announced it was gone and since most of my friends are on my spark page, I will keep in touch.
It is so silly to become attached.
When I was a little girl I had a panda that I loved. Mom made me give it away and I am finding it hard but... I am hoping I can keep the panda alive on my Spark page. Love to all the team

I could be wrong but I think my body is changing. I went to a meeting. They had cake and cookies etc. I chose to eat two red licorace and a cup of tea.
I just cannot understand what has happened to me. I am eating things that are fat free. I still treat myself but I am making better choices.
My talapia was dipped in egg and bread crumbs and baked.
No fat in the mashed potatoes. Just some broth.
Maybe I will actually reach my goal someday since I like the way I am feeling today. emoticon

I really wanted to go for a walk

This is a picture of me five years ago.
But I feel so tired after my Six miles of walk and lawn mowing and gardening.
It seems I may just ride the stationary bike or do the Tai Chi tape for the day and take it easy and hit the ground running tomorrow.
I have had allergies. With the rain a lot of stuff will get knocked out of the air. If it is allergies I should feel better then.
I had a great day with my son and his wife putting in their garden.
I hope the rain does not damage it.
It is going to snow in the sierras but it should be alright here in the Sacramento Valley.

    Six miles is great!!! And I hear you on the allergies - yeah, the flowers and trees budding out are real nice, but geesh! I've had enough affects of the pollen already! Hope the air's a little clearer tommorow. emoticon emoticon emoticon
