I just woke up from a nap. I took a slow walk but am still not feeling very well. Have been sick for two weeks, stuffy nose, tired, dragging doing the best I can to get ready for Christmas. Now I want to catch up and get more stuff done but all I can do is just keep treading water.
Get up coffee, empty the dish washer make breakfast get the cats fed watered and clean the box. Off to Doctor appointment then to church to take care of getting donated food for Gathering Inn. Didn't get as much as I had expected or wanted. But have the desert and the bread. Grateful for what was donated. Every little bit helps.
Going to go to Smart and Final on Wednesday and purchase all the items for the dinner we will cook for the homeless who come to the door on Friday, New Years Day.

I understand how you feel - got the same feeling - at least you went for a walk. I just come home from work and didn't want to do anything - not even go to the gym - house is a mess also - but, tomorrow is another day - hopefully feel better and more productive...

Its gotta get better! right?

So it is over and there is nothing else to do but critique the things I did wrong and thank God for the things I did correctly.

I'm sure the things you did right far outweighs the things you may have done wrong. Don't be too hard on yourself. Christmas day is now over and let's thank God that it went relatively well. Wishing you a Happy New Year.

So I am going to go visit the new little family on Christmas day.
Son number one will be traveling with hubby and me to San Francisco to visit with son number two and his wife and the new addition to the family.
And let's just say the snake didn't lay any eggs.

So there are times that are more valuable than gold. For me right now I am having a more valuable than gold time. I am just going to enjoy the good feelings while they last and not worry about the turning of the wheel.
Things are just as they should be.
