Ok.. fiber supplement.. I'm actually taking this now :

http://www.melilea.com/mal
aysia/index.php?option=com_cont
ent&task=view&id=41&Itemid=70R>
daily (once in the morning) and it really helped a lot for cleansing my system. This is unlike the metamucyl and similar and it really taste like blended vegetables in a glass. Honestly, it taste very gross (in the beginning, I drank it while holding my nose but later, I squeeze 1/2 a lemon and I can drink it straight ever since).

After taking this for a month straight, my sensitivity toward Caffeine stuff (coffee or tea) are definitely increased. Used to be, I could drink coffee anytime and still able to sleep. Now I can't. Someone told me that it's gotta be that my system is getting better and can absorb things more efficiently. I'm not too surprised to hear that as I know that these fibers I been taking is meant to cleanse my system and dragging the impurities out. Made sense to me in a way...

It's not I'm against eating vegetables and fruits coz I still do when I got the time.. I'm just super lazy to chew all these down and very time consuming! So for a busy person like me, these fiber drinks are like Godsent and I completely stand by it. 1 minute vs. 30 minute to prepare and consumed, I'd say fiber drink is awesome.

Thanks for sharing the site however, I got new knowledge!

I think it's better to get fiber from your food, but sometimes it's hard to get it all in. I use Gnu bars and Trader Joe's Fiberful bars to help, especially when I'm traveling and can't eat right.

I get about 50-60 grams of fiber a day from my fruits and vegetables and whole grains. I understand fiber supplements but i think they are more harsh on the body.

Do You Know The Symptoms Of A Heart Attack?

Friday, September 04, 2009

I just finished reading an article titled "How to Tell if Someone Is Having a Heart Attack
- Five heart attack symptoms to watch for and how to respond" that told me the symptoms of a heart attack.

Please read it and tell me what you think.

www.caring.com/articles/symptoms-of-
heart-attack

The article went over the fact that people don't usually have the same symtoms that the actors have in the tv shows and movies. Therefore, you should read this article if you don't know the actually symptoms of a heart attack. In the article I also learned that if you witness someone have a heart attack the symptoms could be totally different the if you were to witness another person have symptoms of a heart attack. Therefore, you should definitely read the article writen by "Stephanie Trelogan" to see what the symptoms are. Stephanie Trelogan says to never wait 1 to 2 hours before calling 911 when you see these symptoms and if you hear the person keep saying they are fine when they are having problems breathing normally then call 911. The reason is the minutes before the "heart attack" accures are very important to the person who is having the heart attack symptoms, because as we all know some people don't survive. You can also damage the "heart" permanently if you wait yo long and that will lead to life long "heart problems".

To get to the point you need to read this article by "Stephanie Trelogan". Once you have done that you will know what to do when you see these symptoms, which in most cases are totally different then those symptoms that you have seen on tv or in the movies. What I am saying is that most people (like me) don't know the symptoms of a heart attack and need to read this article so that they can save someone's life that they care about.

Thanks for reading this blog. Please write me a comment and tell me what you think about "Stephanie Trelogan's" article "How to Tell if Someone Is Having a Heart Attack
- Five heart attack symptoms to watch for and how to respond".

I wish you the best of luck with losing the weight that you want to lose safely.

Have a good day.

God Bless you, your family and friends'.

Thanks for bringing this to other's attention. I am a medic & first aid instructor. You are very right to say that most patients don't have a "hollywood heart attack" and waiting hours to call 911 is very dangerous.

Are Fad Diets Good For You?

Thursday, September 03, 2009

How are you doing?

Thanks for deciding to read my blog.

I read an article titled "How Safe Is Quick Weight Loss?" written by Madeline Vann, MPH.

Please read this article:
www.everydayhealth.com/weight/weight
-loss-safety.aspx?xid=nl_EverydayHealt
hManagingDiabetes_20090825

I that "fad diets" are unsafe and they only produce good results sometimes.

I hope that you liked what you read.

Remember that diets are a thing of the past and that "weight management" is the way to go. "Weight management" is better because it allows you to change your lifestyle to what you want to eat and how much to workout. "Diets" are things that people do to lose weight fast and they don't change the way they live life.

Thanks for reading this message.

God Bless you, your family and friends'.

A long time ago when I was young I tried alot of the fad diets that were coming out. Took me many years to finally get some knowledge and realize that the way to go is eating right and exercising. That is where it's at for getting healthier!

While I saw no results with those fading fads... my new approach has taken me from 230+ pounds 2 years ago to under 190 today and still losing!!

It's hard to not be tempted by some of the crazy things they bring out for weight loss today, but seriously, I hope no one sells theirselves short by trying them! Stick with the spark..it really works..if you work it!

Thanks for sharing this!
