For a while, I've been wanting to get myself in gear in terms of health but I kept seeing obstacles: crazy stuff at work, finding a condo, new projects, emotional highs and lows, the bowl of candy at work.
So, no more. It's time. Sure, my work is wacky, every month I'm trying to figure out when I'm ovulating and whether I might be pregnant, and we're trying to get our condo ready and move in - but honestly, I'm not sure when or if things would really quiet down :) I can't afford to neglect my health - especially when I consider that it's absolutely necessary for me to do what I want to do.
My real challenge is to actually track what I eat: I've never successfully done that before. In the past I would go 110% percent until dinner and then blow it and not want to write it down. Again, no more! I'm going to eat frequently and write down what I eat, even if I'm not especially proud of it.
My goal right now is to get exercise at least five days a week, even if it's just walking for half a hour, and to focus on eating veggies, fruit, and protein, so that my body will be rockin' in terms of nutrients!
