Last time I blogged you saw photos of my breakfast hemp pudding, well it turns out after testing it on it's own, I have a mild reaction to it!
It is day 26 of the plan and Meals have been similar except that yesterday I had maccaroons for breakfast, a morning glory muffin for morning snack and then since I had the car and was running around doing work and errands I did not have time to prepare food. Just before lunch I was done my chores and emailed my husband to ask if he would like to escape from the office for a lunch together!
Now, he usually says no, but he knew how much I love doing things like that, and we don't get to do it often, so he said yes!
Not only did we find a lovely place but the food was amazing!
It was quite posh, it was a Mediterranean restaurant and I ordered the Osso Bucco and my Dh ordered veal medallions, both came with steamed veg and mash!
OH MY GOODNESS! Heaven, I did not take a photo, I thought the place a little too up-market to be taking pics of my food!
Anyway it was delicious, more expensive than the usual date out but it was worth it!
I expected to be up this morning and my weight stayed the same! WOW!
We were still satisfied at dinner time and so did not have dinner, just some tea!
HEre are some of the meals I have had in the last few days!
I discovered HEMP is not freindly for me which is too bad! Sigh! I am tired of the same breakfasts, I will have to test a new one!
I am going away this weekend and am taking 2 home made "PLAN" soups with me for lunches! :)
I will let you know how it goes when I get back! Have a great weekend all!
Thank you again for your encouragement and I will need it to get back on track when I get back from my time away!

Friday started off with me trying out my own recipe of Blueberry Chia pudding for breakfast.
( see previous blog on how to make it)
Well it must have agreed with me so that is good!
Lunch was broccoli soup and salad:
Friday was also the day I tested Rye, now you could just have 2 rye crackers with almond butter on them, so instead I melted my daily 1 ounce of chocolate and added it to the almond butter, broke up the crackers, and made it into a dessert!
Topped it with a dash of coconut cream and almonds. Very rich and satisfying, but unfortunately my body does not like Rye or wheat as I was up 0.8 pounds the next morning!
Lamb and veg. I know lamb was friendly for me in the past.
So since I was up by 0.8 in response to the Rye, I decided to not test anything on Sat and had the rest of the blueberry chia pudding and this time I added pecans
Lunch was salad and carrot soup, I did not take a pic!
Snack was 1 oz low sodium potato chips
Dinner was ground chicken and broccoli on greens:
So all those foods were good for a loss of 0.8 down to a new low this morning! ( new all time low) close to my goal!
This morning I "tested" goat's yogurt and added chia seeds to make a sort of pudding:
Topped with pecans and after the photo I realized I forgot to add the blueberries.
Lunch was the same as yesterday.
snack was carrots and hummus
Afternoon I had tea and gluten free cookie! ( sigh!)
Dinner was pork:
Now I realize that I added way too many elements for me to know what caused a gain if in fact the scale is up tomorrow. Today was just too hectic and too crazy and I had to just go with the flow.
So I am not really considering today a test day ( unless of course I lose a pound and pass them all! That is highly unlikely) I will have a friendly day tomorrow and test 2 proteins in one day this week! I need to do that so I can move ahead, finish the 20 day program and go on to phase 3 which is self testing!
So far the things that DO NOT agree with me are: Wheat, Rye crackers, mozzarella, cupcakes, bread.
No surprises there!
Things I have added are: goat's cheese, manchego cheese, pecans, steak and lamb.
I need to test hemp on its own.
So on to a new week! I go away this weekend coming up ( as per previous blog ) and so I will have to do my best to make the best choices I can given the food provided.
This is the new me after 8 pounds lost:

Last time I went on "The Plan by Lyn- Genet" I struggled. I was reactive to a lot of things and as a result got bored with what I could have.
This time , here I am on day 21 and I am still at it and I have lost, to date, 0.2 short of 9 pounds!
Since Feb 1st.
Last night was steak night, and this is what my plate looked like:
Sautee'd Kale on the side was delicious and I added come boiled carrots. I forgot to add avocado to the greens! O well!
I was still down 0.6 of a pound this morning ! And let me tell you a little secret....I usually have more than the 1 oz of dark chocolate a day, but no more than 2 oz!
had 1/2 glass of wine with dinner and that really seemed to help with the digestion of the steak. I got in my quota of water, although it is still a battle to keep up with it! I find at the end of the day I am chugging it back to catch up!
This morning I realized I had not tested hemp officially so decided not to have the Hemp Protein pudding, so opted for my own version, which included 1/2 cup blueberries and almond milk.
Let me show you what I did:
First I put blueberries, water and almond milk in the blender, then added it to the chia seeds.
At fist the seeds sort of swim in the liquid:
Then I let it sit for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally:
Sorry - those photos were taken with my phone - pretty bad!
Then I let it sit a little longer until the liquid was mostly absorbed and then added a little coconut cream and stirred ( skimmed off the top of a can) and then topped it with some coconut cream to make it pretty and added almonds:
Lunch is going to be this:
broccoli soup with a salad on the side!
Who knows what dinner will be, I am supposed to have chicken or fish, but I don't have either in the house! Sigh!
I'll let you know how that turns out!
I am 2 pounds away from my goal! WHoo hoo!
Thanks again to Lis and ALL OF YOU for cheering me on!
