Just a quick note.
I've been following the Metabolism Miracle plan for 3 weeks steady and am 7 pounds down right now. However, I have lost inches, which I think looks like much more. I need to have my hubby put a few more holes in my belt as it is at it's tightest now.
After checking the spark people bmi page again, I realize that I need to weigh between 96 and 127 pounds to be in the "healthy" range. So I guess my goal of 120 is pretty much on target. (I'm only 5 feet tall folks!)
Anyway, its fall here in Maine and the chores are getting checked off slowly. Snow will be here long before we're ready, but we are making steady progress. We might beat the snow yet! The past 2 days have been awesomely warm but cold and rain are on their way, bummer!

OMG! I think I'm gonna make it!!!
I was just revisiting my resolutions (see my old blog "January 2011) to see how bad I was doing and found out that .... hold the phone!........
other than the weight, I have accomplished EVERYTHING!
I'm doing so good right now with loosing weight, I feel that I will actually be the 20 pounds down by the end of the year. Afterall, I'm 5 down right now. 15 more and I'll reach that goal. Of course I need to loose 40 total, but 1/2 at a time, right?
I'm so happy to see the progress here in September. I really thought I was failing miserably on these. What a pleasant surprise!
I'm also happy to be on spark again.

Better late than never, right?
Ok. Here goes. I think its all do-able
Eat more raw foods
I've started on this and have been really keeping it at for 2 weeks. I think it's a habit. Fruit and veggies all day long!
Eat more fish
When I go out, I'm ordering the "real" fish, not fried nuggets! Plus for my birthday last week I made salmon.
Start a hooping class
There is interest in our community center and I've been learning new moves. I hope this happens as it's really good for removing love handles!
Loose 20 pounds
Self explanitory. I really need to loose more, but this is my goal for 2011
Annual physical & deal with medical issues
I've scheduled the appointments and have $1000.00 to spend ( I don't have good insurance!) I need to have a goiter rechecked, a new IUD, and bloodwork done. This won't come cheap! I'll spend more if I have to. The bloodwork is also for thyroid recheck and I have to get the radiation pills for the goiter. I'm not a big baby, but I panic when I get blood drawn, and I'm claustrophobic for that 30 minute xray thing. I'm not looking forward to this.
Sound good? Does to me.

So, here I am. 6 months later, ready to restart some sort of program.
Unbelievably, 6 months of doing what-ever-the-heck I wanted to, I only gained 1 pound!!! Like eating 1/2 a pizza. Desserts everyday. Holiday splurges daily. Eating out an awful lot.
I've kept up with work, which people tell me I do a lot of exercise in daily stuff, but I really haven't done anything much extraordinary. Zumba, because of the holidays, has been only once a week for about 2 months, Line Dancing was done for 2 months too, but it starts back up next week. And Yoga doesn't do anything for me except relax, so I keep that going.
I've got 3 days left (before my 41st birthday) to come up with my New Year's resolutions. So far I want to: 1. eat more raw & fresh fruit/veggies, 2. loose 20 pounds this year, 3. get out walking now daily again.
Problem is that no matter what I do, or don't do, I don't loose weight. I think on my next doctor appointment, I have a few issues to address and possibly need some meds.
Honestly, the last 6 months have been great! I haven't tried and I still didn't gain but the one pound!!!

Just a quick note for all ...
Daddy is getting married next Saturday. Daddy is 69. Mom died 2 years ago last week. I should blog more at some point, but I'm a bit busy right now with craft fairs. So you'll have to wait.
