Thurst for life

Sunday, October 13, 2013

At work i meet many kinds of people. Occasionally you meet one that sticks in your mind for days. I helped one lady the other day who made me think "I want that". It wasn't that she was rich, or extremely beautiful, or anything that make most pay attention. She was full of life! This older lady was laughing and having fun and buying a new outfit so she could "prowl". She was so confident in herself and what she wanted. That inspired me as i helped her with her new outfit. Pay attention in your everyday life or you just might miss your daily inspiration or maybe even that one moment that helps you get back on track.

We need to walk around with our eyes/ears/hearts open for opportunities . That bears repeating

What a delightful sounding old lady. Pity she cant be told how she inspires younger people. I love confident people.

I know exactly what you mean. She had life! I clean house for a 95 year old woman who has spunk! So much so that she and I get into heated and funny discussions just to goad each other. LOL I may not want to live that long but I want to live fully until the day I pass on.

Shake it but don't break it!! Man it feels great to cut loose. For the last few days i have been turning on the radio for about fifteen minutes and dancing like i don't care. I feel so full of energy and my kids love it too. I cant wait till i get my wii system back up then i will be doing Zumba a few times a week.

Be carefree for a few minutes it wont kill you :)

    Love it!

Not only is dancing like that super good exercise, but it's so important that we learn to feel comfortable in our bodies and just do what we feel like doing.

You're awesome =)

kids!

Gotta love trying to exercise with kids around. You shut the door, they open it up. You try to hold a yoga pose and they use you as a tunnel. You try to wait until they are asleep and they have a bad dream. I know it can be done I just need to figure out how.

boy oh boy do I remember those days Mine are now 14 and 10 and still like to join in now in then. My co-workers thought I was nuts getting up at 4:30am mon-fri to do the treadmill or a DVD but it was the only time I was guaranteed to not be interrupted.

Good Luck in finding what works for you.

ahahahaha.... All I have to do with mine is ask them to join in. And they flee the room. Mine are older - 2 teenagers and a 10 year old. So its more the peanut gallery comments than anything. but .... i exercise in the lving room - where the Wii and XBOX are. So the longer i excercise the longer they have to wait.... :-)

I saw a cute idea on Pinterest too...write down exercises and put into plastic eggs. Have kids find the eggs and they have to do that exercise i.e. do 5 push-ups then lead them to another egg.

Dance parties are always fun too...my kids love to see me act a fool!
