Spinning over lunch at least 6 times, plus 2 other spinning classes, dance wednesdays, workout on own 3 other days (at least once a weekend) with 1 rest day
Result: Did well--Met the spinning over lunch goal, did not do any other classes, did dance on wednesdays, and did workout 3 other days
Planks-1-30 second regular plank, 1-30 second left side, and 1 -30 second right side every day
Results: OK. I did this the majority of days, but not everyday
Strength training: 2x week
Result: Bad--started doing this the last two weeks, eased my way in
2.) Food: Track EVERY SINGLE DAY! No more than 4 days at over calories
Result: Only went over 4 days, tracked every day
3.) Continue to learn to love myself and allow room for mistakes
Result: Doing much better :)
Overall, I am pleased with my results. Not only did i lose weight, i BROKE INTO THE 150'S!
Bye bye 160s!

I am really excited to do end of the month measurements/beginning of march measurment on Friday! I think they will be great. I had a wonderful weight in on Friday, right at 160, but put on a little this weekend, but i'm confident that I will get it back off by Friday. I have my week packed full of exercise: elliptical, spinning, dance class, buns and guns :) Its all planned. All i have to do is maintain my eating all week, and i'll have another successful month!
March is going to be a very hard month, but we'll get into that in the post for march!
Here's to the final febrary push! Lets reach some goals!

Last week hit me like a brick wall. A brick wall made of gut wrenching viruses. Yes, I came down with the stomach flu. It started Monday night, and didn't fully clear up until probably Thursday, with a sneak attack Saturday night as I attempted to drink a beer.
The good news, I was able to lose all the superbowl era weight i gained (the roughtly 1.5lbs). So i'm back to my beginning Feb weight as of Friday (this AM i was down an additional .5)
The bad news is, it was not enjoyable. It also tempted me to eat a little worse than i normally with, and rationalize it. You see, i was on a cereal/chicken noodle soup/powerade diet for the hours b/t 6am and 5pm. Accumulating around 500 calories by dinner. So for dinner, we were ordering pizzas and strombolis, mostly in a feisty effort to get some calories in my body. Pizza really was one of the only foods i could keep down. I imagine the crust was helping a lot, and maybe the grease? Maybe i'm making this all up. Regardless, i still got my weight back down.
The other downfall was the lack of exersice b/c 1.) i was scared to start in case i had to make a quick bathroom dash, and 2.) i was awesomely dehydrated, and didn't want to risk increasing that. I did however, play lasertron and go ice skating on saturday, which helped a bit.
Back on track this week. Calories all logged for day. Exercise in. Off to a good start. Can't wait to see that loss on Friday morning ;)

February did not start off with the bang that i had hoped it would. Although, it has been a lot of fun :) So, after the superbowl, and my disaster of an eating weekend that week, last week continued slightly on the same path, as we had left overs: leftover puppy chow, left over chocolate popcorn, left over chips! Disaster. SO i found myself grabbing handfuls here and there. The good news is, that i tracked it all, the bad news is, it doesn't track well;)
BUT onward and upward, i did very well this weekend, despite having been at Five guys and at the Movies. (PS did you a know a five guys LITTLE cheeseburger is nearly 500 cals??) Anyways, i was almost back down today to my feb start weight, which means def by weigh-in friday i should at least be back to where i started, if not further.
The other downfall for this month is that i haven't started my goal of stregnth training twice a week. BUT i will not consider this a fail, b/c
1.) failing sucks
2.) maybe i was trying to push myself to far??
So, i finally sat down, figured out how and when i want to get it in, and crossing my fingers i actually do it this week. Better late than never?
Here's to a healty and happy next few weeks!
Cheers! Gonna go back to hanging out with my pup :)

I have been putting off this weeks blog, as this weekend wasn't my greatest. I mean, the weekend itself was a ton of fun, but we all know that quite often ton of fun and sticking to a diet/exercise routine tend to not run in the same group. Not saying it can't be done, but i didn't co-mingle the two very well this weekend. BUT, alas, i said, you're in the for the long run, and if there's bad things to report, then so be it! Plus, looking back, there are some good too :)
Friday during the day I went to the gym during lunch and did the elliptical lightly for about 30 mins, so at least I got some excercise in. Then we went out to eat. I had a pasta dish, with spinach and tomatos and feta, and olive oil. It was very oily, but i just kept draining the pasta, and ate about 1/4 of it. So i feel i did pretty well. Then we went bowling, for 6 hours! There was a lot of (light) beer consumption, but we were also on our feet. And i was sore the next day LOL. From Bowling!
Saturday we ate out again, and I had a greek burger (ate half) and substituted the fries out for regular potatos. Carb heavy, but at least not deep fried. Saturday I was pretty proud of myself b/c i was feeling a little rough all day, but instead of eating my way through it, i counted calories and watched myself so i didn't over indulge.
Sunday was the bowl. I had breakfast (spinach omlette with feta and toast) and then had an apple at lunch, then went to a party. They had sushi and shrimp, so i had mostly just that, and then tried all the dips and desserts. I think i did fairly well, while still indulging. I did not drink, so thats good.
Overall, i was pleased with my food choices. What i'm disappointed in is my lack of exercise :( I kept telling myself, just 10 minutes, just 10 minutes, but i never did the 10 minutes. BUT today i got back on the horse, did 25 on the elliptical at lunch, tracked all my food, and am back at it. I'm not going to let one weekend ruin my motivation!
